Chapter 7 – The Mysterous Stranger

I walked back to Malfoy’s house slowly and painful, each step i took was filled with pain, sorrow, and sadness. As i reached the door of the two story house that I called home, I paused. The setting sun in the distance shined on my back, shadowing the door.

Night…

My mind raced as I shook my head, “He will come back, I know he will.”

It had been a week since Night left for Orbis, and I worried. Malfoy was gone too, so I was alone in the house. I took off my dark moonlight, white guiltain, and my arten gloves changing into my casual wear. My striped t-shirt, sandblasted jeans, and golden pride I wore felt rather comfortable, but I still felt empty. My blue moon earrings dangled from my ears, as it shown from the orange sun in the west. As I walked out the door, my comm. rang. My heart lept in joy as I answered.

“Night?”

“Um.. no Ppop. Its me, King.”

I sighed painfully. “Yes King?”

“Hey can you meet me at the station? I have two tickets to go to Orbis and well you might be able to see Night!”

I ran to my room and packed my bags, taking all my items that i treasured and wore.

“Sure King! I’ll be there in 10 mins!” I cheerfully rejoiced over the comm.

As i left a note for Malfoy, i ran out the door, teleporting my way to the station. King and Rogue waited for me at the enterance, as he handed me the ticket. I jumped on the boat and sat down smiling at the night sky.

“So Ppop, excited?” King held out an ice cream sunday as i waved my hand saying ‘no thanks’

“Its been a week since Night left, what i reallly hope he’ll like is this.” I took out a folded Blue Napoleon.

King and Rogue stared in awe as I showed them a pair of Blue Moon Gloves that i folded.

“I hope he’ll really like it, I got paid from the job at cleaning out the tower.” I smiled proudly as i put the items back in my suitcase.

As the boat flew across the sky to head back to Orbis; King, Rogue, and I talked about tips on how to level fast and where to get the most money from. We’d laugh and giggle about silly adventures that King or I would have. Suddenly over the horizon, we saw Orbis glowing from the bright moon. And a new building I had never seen before, it was tall and majestic, decorated with many vines. Near the top of the building, there was a huge golden ‘G’.

The boat blasted, telling us that we had arrived at Orbis. As King and Rogue wave me good bye, I walked to the teleporting platform as it transported me to the pots shop. Opening the big wooden door, i found a crowd gathered around two people; a hooded man and a high leveled warrior.

” How dare you scam me! You’re such a low life scum!” The warrior held his gladius high at the hooded man.

I ran in the middle of the two to stop them from fighting, the warrior pointed the sword towards my face.

“MOVE OUT OF THE WAY YOU STUPID GIRL!” He growled.

I charged a holy arrow, shooting at his weapon to cause it to drop on the floor.

“How dare you. No one ever calls me stupid.” I frowned before walking over and slapping him in the face.

As i walked back, I never saw the warrior picking up his weapon and charging at me. I heard a thud behind me, so quickly turning I saw the hooded man block the sword from hitting me. I gasped in utter shock, as the sword was blocked by a familar looking claw.

Night…..

The man pushed the warrior down before running out the door leaving me staring shocked. The warrior cursed at him before picking up his sword to chase after the man.

“Who was that?…” I whispered as the crowd exited the the shop.

“Ma’am, you want any pots?” Edel the Fairy asked catching me out of my daze.

I nodded no before leaving the pots shop and head towards El Nath. I communicated with all my friends, including night telling them that i was going to head to El Nath, to figure out who that hooded man was and what he wanted.

“So it seems you followed me.” The hooded man leaned on the pillar near the statue of the fairy.

“Perhaps. I just want to know why you blocked that hit on me.” I raised my eyebrow.

“In due time, milady.” He bowed oddly as if he was Night. “You shall see who i am.”
