Staff of Aoi Chapter One: Staff of Aoi

Author’s Note: I dont make Prologues

Long ago…

There was a man named Aoi. He was killed. Nobody knows why. People went to go get the staff from the person. They never came back. Then they started to believe that whoever went to go steal the staff back died. This staff was a Maple Staff. This staff was The Staff of Aoi.

Now…

A hunter decided to go out on his own to find it. His name was Nori. Everyone in the town Perion made fun of him. Perion was his home town. He promised he would come back alive if he didn’t his family would lose everything. His parents really didn’t care about him so he didn’t mind if he died. He was going to set out on July 1st. Nori said, “I’ll be back by the end of this month.” Everyone laughed at him.

According to everybody this assassin lived in Orbis. Nori set off on his journey. He went through all those monsters. By the time he got to the ship he was all scratched up.

He grabbed his Ryden and boarded the ship.

Nori entered his cabin early. “Today was a long day.” he whispered. He eventually fell asleep.

Nori woke up the next day and went on the deck. He was suprised. The Barlogs haven’t came.

Nori yawned and went back to his cabin. He was still tired but he couldn’t go to sleep. Nori had to practice with his bow. He went back up on the deck. Nori took two arrows out of his quiver. He launched them off the boat.

At last Orbis. Orbis was a dangerous town. It was also the town where you make a guild though. Nori went running forward towards the portal he saw in the distance. He slipped and started to fall. It was about a five-hundred foot drop. Nori started to cry. It was the end for him. All he ever wanted to do is get the Staff of Aoi. He was going to die now.

“Amy!” a warrior screamed.

Nori looked all around he saw nothing and then realized he was on the ground safe. He fell to his knees. Nori thought, “That was lucky.” He wiped the tears away from his eyes. “Tha-nk you.” he cried.

“Wimp,” said a female magician.

Nori was pissed off. He took two arrows out of his quiver and fired them. The magician dodged them “Try that again.” she said. Nori walked away from her. He had to go search anyway. “Hey wait!” she yelled. Nori turned around with two arrows already in his bow. She said, “Your not going through that portal without fighting me first.” Nori backed up a little. He thought, “There’s no way I can beat her. She’s so fast.” He knew what he had to do. Nori fired the arrows. They were extremely fast but not fast enough to hit the Magician. She had no idea what Nori was about to do as she approached him Nori hit her with a soul arrow. It sent her back about twenty feet. “Why’d you save me?” Nori said. She didn’t reply. The warrior also joined the fight. It was two on one now. Nori licked his lips. He fired two more soul arrows.

“Darn it…” Nori said.

The warrior pulled out a spear. Nori knew the warrior wouldn’t be that hard. It was the mage he was worried about. Nori took out two arrows and pointed them at the warrior. He pulled the string back. He launched the arrows at the warrior. There wasn’t a chance that the warrior would dodge the arrows. The magician took the warrior by the arm and teleported away from them. Nori took a knee. He was panting. The two of them were tired. Nori had almost no more arrows and the magician had no more mana.

  1. Make it for descriptive, like Eden said.
Also, the last paragraph was confusing. He shot two arrows at the warrior and collapsed? o.o”
