Logging on to MMOT today, I decided to check out what the big fuss was about Aqua Road. Seeing as how three-quarters of the blogs last night had the words ‘Aqua’ and ‘Road’ together in the title – oh yes, don’t forget ‘patch’, ‘ghey’ and ‘oh em gee’ – I clicked on the latest blog and found…a discussion of the newly added NEWB SKILLS. Dear son of a bun! I thought to myself, albeit sarcastically. What have GMS done to warrant this…gift for the noobdom? Besides the excessive complaining, the whining, the flaming, that is…

The thing that smacked me the hardest was this FIVE-HOUR LIMITATION. What is this?! I mean, honestly. Is this to prevent another Tiger? To stop bored geeks such as myself having a thirteen-hour Maple-thon to stave off boredom?

Yes, I did have a thirteen-hour Maple-thon one holiday. I regretted it later due to the fact that it hurt to see and I felt like throwing up.

So, as the concerned Mapler I am, I typed a reply. I believe it went something like ‘NUUU WIZET IS EVIL.’

Then I get a temporary posting restriction. Slapped on me like a duty stamp at the post office. Oh, the pain. Oh, the agony. So perhaps I was a tad explicit in my dislike…I do apologise to ye, Silver. I will comment. As soon as I’m unbanned.

But now, I’m logging on to go and check out the fuss. Allamar’s feeling killy.

Within seconds of logging on, I see a newbie warrior. With a green chair. I was so incensed that I promptly bashed him up, took the chair and ran away. No, not really. I just thought I did. So I purchase a ticket to Orbis, to go check out our new, aqueous instalment to the world of Maple, and, sighing, Alt-Tab out as a noob magician stalks me. When I alt-tab back in just to make sure I haven’t got random defamed or something, I press the R button to check which of my buddy list is on.

Then I notice the new tab added to the congregation.

The blacklist? The BLACKLIST?! Which can hold up to MORE PEOPLE THAN MY BUDDY LIST CURRENTLY DOES?!

Oh, this is going to be fun.

I get onto the ship, climb the sails and Teleport to the little crow’s nest up the top. Spend a few minutes watching in amusement as my little nooby magician (yes, he’s been demoted to nooby now) stalker attempts to jump up there with me. The ship starts and I climb into the cabin, to find the LONG-AWAITED MAPLE HISTORY BOOK BOX. I have waited. And waited. And waited. And wasted. Mesos. And now I finally have it. The celestial chorus was really belting out my song today. So I alt-tabbed out to write about my overwhelming joy, whereupon I went back in and got involved in an arrow war with an archeress. The poor nooby mage guy got caught in the middle and we kept shooting him.

I ended up guiding the archeress to Nero, then accidentally dragging her, level 26 archer, down to about the 16th level of Orbis Tower. She was quite painfully pwnt by Sentinels, so we slogged our way back up. And didn’t die. =D She went off to go sleepies after that, leaving me to write about ALLAMAR’S SOLO EXPLOITS.

So I travel Allamar down to Orbis Tower, B1. To Aqua Road we go.

…my printer/scanner/thing just started clicking and whirring funnily… o.O

We also had a run-in with a balrog at the zoo. I told him not to feed the animals, but nooo…

Well, that’s my stint at Aqua in a few pictures. It was AWESOME. I got pwnt, but it was AWESOME beyond measure.
