Well I generally just read blogs and don’t post, but something of significance happened today. So I’ve been third job for 2 weeks now, 72 and 60%, and although I don’t consider myself pro, I consider myself a decent addict. Anyway, on with the story.
So today, after a grueling 20% at zombies I decided to repot and coincidentally met all the high levels on Bera. Apparently they were planning something. Well, after chatting with a few of them, I went on my way to zombies again. It just so happens that they were going the same direction I was. So, curiousity got the best of me and I decided to follow.
When I reached my destination, I was shocked. Almost every high level was there (the first three pages of Bera world ranking from mapleglobal.com . I could see three or maybe even four Fair Frozens. Kages and Devil Sunrises were held by all. Exhilirated, I proceeded to ask for a group photo. What I got next was even more astonishing. Sure, I spammed a second time for a group photo, but I’m sure that should not have prompted the response that I got. I was told to go uhm, (insert profanity here), my mother by the highest level on Bera, the “great” Beetie himself. I used to respect these people, but now I know I can’t.
Well, after stirring up the wrath of a great amount of the general “pro” population (Who let this noob in, who leaked this information out?; No one did, the bleeping noob followed us here), I decided to leave before I got mass defamed by them and the largest guilds on Bera.
So the question is, just because I’m 65 levels lower than you, and I’m not as far in Third Job (I know you’re ready for Fourth), does that mean I’m supposed to be treated as less of a human? Do pixels really define a person’s character?
Edit: Well after I came on to apologize, Beetie and I have come to an understanding. I should not have bothered him and he said he was sorry for blowing his top, but he was just under a lot of stress.
High levels usually are, erm, not the best social-wise,
They are either really nice like my hermit friend and dragon knight friend
or they are extremely mean and think theyare the best, because, well, they kind of are, and they let that get to their heads =/, I think if you’re a third job, don’t let yourself believe you are a noob no matter what, I know, that’s a long road to walk, to get to third job =[
not exactly i met kurai one of da best in scania 9th place and he was nice and he didnt think he was better then anybody else he even called himself a noob lol.
OK High lvls are usually lifeless people that just play MS constantly (or hack), so their crappy social skills are usually the cause of their “rudeness”. But Beetie, telling you that?!?!? Wrong man,
maybe you pissed him off badly, or he was in a bad mood, can be all, but i’ve never expected this from beetie, i’ve met him a few times but he always seemd quiet and calm =/
Same here (although I died, so maybe he just shrugged me off).
i dont interact in MS much.
its more fun in RL then in MS, cuz u can be whoever u want in MS.
like, say ur a MSgeek and a nerd in RL: u can tell everyone no the internet that ur an uber-football player.
see the flaw?
LMAO you got the wrong name!
Once you reach third advancement, it seems that everything is based on, LEVEL and GUILD.
You’re expected to be a pro and to be higher than everyone
“You haven’t leveled in two days?! OH WHAT A NOOB” “You’re in a hacker guild [defined by a guild that has a rumor that two or members are hackers]?! EWWW UR A HACK0RZ!?”
It’s like, not to bash on anyone, but the stereotypical “preps” of a school
Oh, so you get rich, date someone popular, start to look pretty,
You’re expected to be like everyone else in that group.
You’re expected to be higher than everyone else.
And with power, you’re expected to dislike everyone under you.
I think that makes sense :
Anyways, it’s just how it is.
