Slimes dropping rare items did not seem to be annoying enough, so mesos has now been made a rare drop, not dropping from monsters below lvl 75 and only dropping in max amounts of 3 at a time. any mesos currently owned by players will be removed.

<Maple Patch 1.1>
We have created a new program that runs into your cookies, find your credit card details and buy 1,000,000,000 NX Cash. While doing this, the program may internally affect your computer negatively. Circuits may overheat and internal CPU fans shall not be enough to combat the problem. This may cause disastrous effects to the general well-being.
On the other hand, you may be happy to know that the “Alert GM” button has been changed so that you must enter a four-digit PIN to activate it. The pin shall be changed once a week.
While we realise that this may increase hackers of the general population, we find that hackers are the main reason why non-NX cash users are quitting. We are trying to increase this effect as these people are increasing the work-load on our underdeveloped servers. Why do we have lack of good sturdy servers? Because an unrelaxed GM is a bad one, so we have a new latte machine in the GM lounge, helping increase GM morales. This latte machine, however, means that funding on MapleStory servers and various plans for improvement have been cancelled to avoid pay cuts on our beloved GMs.
On the other hand, enjoy the new halloween candies. We are talking of course to hackers and the insanely obsessed people who legitly reach high levels without the aid of hacks. Make us proud and burn those bandwith chewing newbies who don’t buy our wonderful NX cash items.

Due to the last few patches up,
maplers all over the world had gotten to levels way too high,
therefor, all maplers level 100 and above will be banned for no reason.
also, maplers level 70 and above will get half exp of monsters, to make it harder to level for them and they will need to hack.
