Gir got up and looked around, below he saw where they had entered. He remembered what happened. He remembered running towards the many-limbed demon. Evything after that was a blur.

Then, he heard someone.

“One…Two…Three…Four…”

“Layis?”

“Five…Six…Seven…Eight…”

“Layis? Is that you?”

“Nine…Ten…Ready or Not….”

“Layis?”

“Here I come…*giggle*”

“Wait a minute…”

Gir suddenly then had a flashback of everything that had happened. He rembered the girl speaking about the game, he remembered the 8th girl who looked like Layis. The flyer with the demons on it. And finally when the girl was standing next to the demon.

“You….You’re….The 5th demon….”

Thunder Flashed, but not natural thunder, and all of a sudden it became dark.As Gir looked on at the mysterious girl, her face flashed with a bright glow, and like a machine, her mask immediately changed into a demon’s face, similar to the demons he had come across earlier.

And with a demon’s voice, she spoke

“*giggle* Who’ll play hide and seek with me…When we play this game, the town grows brighter and the lights turn on… however, this doesn’t last for long. That’s why we must play this game of hide and seek, again.. and again, and again….”

As Gir looked up, he saw a light on the tower. Four of the eight players, each in a cell connected to wires, their cells started to grow, eyes white on all of them as though they were dead. Then, in the structure on the tower behind the mysterious girl, was Jaard in a cell of his own. He was barely alive.

“Gir… Gir… run…”

“Who’ll play hide and seek with me!”

As Gir saw, two wires connected with the light barrel on Jaard’s cell

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

It was the most dreadful thing that Gir saw, He tried to run to save him, only to end up tripping and falling down. But it was too late, Jaard and the others were dead.

The town began to light up, every single inch of neon and bulb lights began to light up brighter and brighter including on the tower

“The players….they’re used to light up this town…”

As he looked back, the demon stared him up close in the face.

“everyone has been caught…..You’re the last one….you won…….Now you’re it….”

*Laughter*

“One…Two…Three…Four…Five…Six…Seven…Eight…Nine…Ten. Ready or not!”

“Ready!”

“Here I come”

His eyes glowed with an eerie red as the game began.
