I awoke to the sound of my alarm clock. I flung my hand to turn it off but missed several times.

“FRANKIE! TURN OFF THAT DAMN CLOCK!” my best friend Jeremy yelled.
I finally hit the off switch and got up. I changed out of my Sauna Robe and got into my training outfit. Jer did the same and got into his Bandit gear. I grabbed my Godly Lama Staff and we set out to the Dark Stone Golems. After a few hours of training, we came back home to get ready for our annual trip to Orbis. Jer got into the shower as I got our other friend Kaylee out of bed. Even though her name was Kaylee, we all called her Puppy because she so sweet and innocent. I pulled off her blanket and she started yelling at me.

“FRANKIE! WHY’D YOU DO THAT!?”
“Rise and shine little missy, we have to get ready to go to Orbis today.”
“Ugh fine!” she moaned rolling out of bed and mumbling under her breath how annoying I was.
I laughed and stepped out onto the terrace. I looked to the big blue sunny sky and thought… just thought. Jer soon came up behind me with his gear already on. I got in the shower next, then Pup did after I got out.

Soon we set out to Ellinia to catch the boat to Orbis. We decided to race there and I ended up winning since I used a scroll. I waited on deck for them as I noticed a girl sitting in the corner. She threw me into a trance as I stared at her playing omok with another passenger. She was absolutely beautiful with her black hair and deep dark brown eyes. Before she could catch a glimpse of me I turned away to face my arriving friends. They climbed aboard and we sat in a corner playing match cards.

We came to Orbis and as they went on ahead to the tower I stayed back hoping to see that girl again. She was nowhere to be found.
“Yo, Frankie lets go!” Jer called out
“Yeah, we’re gonna miss all the good spots at Coolies!” Pup shouted
“Alright… coming!”
I took one last look to the crowd of people getting off the boat but she still wasn’t the

We went up to the magical rock inside the tower and we each took out a scroll. We each said the incantation to activate the power of the rock, in a split second later we were in El Nath. I bought everyone some extra clothing since it was much colder than we expected. We entered the hotel and got three rooms to stay in for the night. I set out to the market looking for Dead Mine Scrolls so we could make it there faster. I found a merchant selling some really cheap and bought each of us one.

As I left the market, the weather changed dramatically! There was a huge blizzard outside and I was nowhere near the hotel, or any house for that matter. The only closest safe place was the tower. I tried thinking of more options but I could not. I ran as fast as I could to the Tower. On my way there I slipped because I was not wearing Snowshoes and hit my head on a sheet of ice. I got up, knowing that I would freeze to death if I didn’t keep on going.

After a few minutes of looking hopelessly through the blizzard, I finally came across the Orbis Tower. I entered but I had to get to someplace warm. I climbed up the steps slowly to the rock and took out a scroll. I muttered the incantation and I was back in Orbis. I went to the Grand Orbis Inn to get warm.

After a few minutes, I phoned my friends at the El Nath Hotel to let them know where I was. They told me they would call when the storm blew over. So I just sat down in front of the fire, and thought… just thought.
