This is Part 1 of my story, The Lost City. Sorry I didn’t include a title in my other blog. Tell me what you think.

Grendel was levitating in his house at the top of Ellinia. He was fixed at this position while he meditated and was only disturbed by soon to be Magicians and Clerics. It was a peaceful afternoon and the sun’s rays shined through his windows. But suddenly his concentration was disturbed. He sensed something.
Grendel opened his eyes and looked around. Nothing. But he knew it was something farther away then even he could see. He had only felt this thousands of years ago on that fateful day. The other Elders and him had stumbled on that city. He hated to think about the dreadful experience that he experienced there, and the battle that had taken place. He knew the doors were sealed but something was wrong.
“What has happened…” he whispered.

It was a sunny day in the town of Henesys and four friends were standing at a pair of benches, bored. Their names were Mark, Crystal, Dan, and Ricky. But they were not ordinary villagers. They were all descendants of the Elders. They had been trained since birth at the art of combat and now they were only 18 but had the power of great warriors.
Mark was a powerful Dragon Knight who wielded a Hellslayer and was clad in a Commodore armor. He had very short brown hair and green eyes. He always had a serious look on his face and was considered the leader of the group. Mark tried very hard to make his family proud of him.
Crystal was a Ranger with a Golden Arund. She wore a Red Anes robe and had deadly accuracy. She had long blonde hair and soft blue eyes. She was energetic and very kind to other people.
Dan was a Hermit. He used a Casters Claw with numerous sets of Ilbi and Steely throwing stars. He wore a Dark Pirate top and bottom. He had short black hair and brown eyes. Dan always had a fierce look on his face and loved to train and perfect his skills. Some people wondered how him and Crystal got along.
Ricky was a Priest. He fought with a powerful Kage and wore a Red Oriental Fury Coat. He had black hair which came down to his neck. He had brown eyes and cared for other people but could be fierce in a fight. Ricky was social and always helped his friends when fighting.
“There seems nothing to do these days” Mark said.
“Why don’t we go to Sleepywood?” Dan said.
“I hate that place. It’s so creepy down there.” Crystal said.
“Well that’s the only idea we’ve had all day so we might as well kill some time there” Ricky said.
Mark stood up and grabbed his Hellslayer. Everyone got up from the benches and followed behind him. They went East until they came to the entrance of the Road to the Dungeon. Ricky teleported ahead and killed off the monsters in their path. They continued until they made it to the Dungeon Entrance. A guard was fast asleep and Crystal tapped him on the head with her bow as they passed by.
“Huu…wha…I wasn’t sleeping boss, I swear!” he exclaimed.
It was a short trip to Sleepywood from there. Mike jumped down form the ledge to the portal and they all followed. Ricky jumped over last. He lost his footing on the ledge to the portal and fell. Ricky grabbed for the ledge but he missed. He hit the ground hard but healed himself moments after.
“…Where am I?” he said.
