HermitGore finally leveled up

It was a long journey. After getting one character to the level of a 4 followed by a 5 he was deemed boring. The funds saved by him were stolen, and coincidentally on the same day an assassin was born. For the 7th time the boring trip from Maple Island to Victoria Island was completed and Broa had it’s newest rouge.

At first a sum of 100,000 bags of 10 mesos was a good price for the character. But after the first rouge equips and the cheap 500 meso stars were bought, it was not good enough. The new character had a thirst for blood and needed more power to achieve this. Back on the retired magician, the free market was scanned for any weapons suitable for this rouge. The perfect item was found.

They were cold and sharp objects at a cheap price. Three sets of 800 of these were purchased. After a short deposit and a 300 meso fine, the rouge had his new weapons of destruction. He slowly moved up the ranks of the Henesys Hunting Ground while trying to avoid the annoying sounds of low levels who begged for the most idiotic things.

Thankfully, he was able to escape from the hell hole and into the magician breeding ground, otherwise known as the Ant Tunnel. But there were no ants in this tunnel only mushrooms by a name that I would rather not say. It was a long way from becoming the job after the first job, but it was achieved.

The assassin to be wreaked havoc on the testing map and soon collected enough marbles to pass. He was given a new book that showed his skills. It would take a while to master them all. A variety of monsters were fought on my way to become a hermit. Zombie mushrooms, wild boars, fire boars, teddy bears, chronos and all other types of monsters would be my victims.

But his best way to gain experience for his green bar was quests. Many were completed during the level 40s. They were a good way to escape from the repetitive actions and movements of grinding. Soon this assassin was almost going to pass his highest leveled character in half the amount of time needed. But there I hit a wall. There was nowhere to go. Everything took forever to get any experience and the discouraged assassin couldn’t think of anywhere to go. Even the weak beings of Aqua Road would not help him.

There were no more quests that were worth completing so he had to find a training spot. He was given a helping hand by Nexon’s two times experience event which brought him to get 30% in his green bar of experience. But it was still not enough.

His lever’s block was finally broken by a new monster that he discovered. Fly-eyes. They had a great amount of experience compared to how much health they had. He was finally able to level up. It felt great to finally see that sweet, sweet image of a 46 next to his name. His long grind was over and the next level is already half way over.

One day this assassin will finally reach his peak at level 50. It may not be a goal most people would want most in their Maplestory career, but it will be a great day for him. New clothes and a new skill mastered. Until then I will just have to grind while thinking of ways I could exploit Nexon’s secret plots.

Yeah I know, I finally made a serious blog. It’s been a while since I couldn’t just put “just kidding” at the end. Anyway, comments pl0x.
