I didn’t think that it would fit in the uploader and didn’t want to download an image resizer so I’ll just post it in my blog as usual. Anyway, I have been doing projects for the last three days and haven’t played video games since Saturday =O Except for some boring flash games but those don’t count.

Fortunately, I got a snow day today. There wasn’t much snow but I guess there was too much ice on the roads. Now I can spend my whole day playing video games. By the way, I beat the Theives Guild and Fighters Guild quest lines in Oblivion. The Fighter’s Guild doesn’t give you much except a key to a chest that gives you money ever month. The Thieves Guild gives you the Gray Cowl which has Detect Life 120 feet, Feather 200 points, and Fortify Sneak 25 points.

Needless to say, it’s awesome. The one downside is that you get an automatic 500 gold bounty when you put it on, but if you take it off without anyone seeing then it goes away. But it will also carry any bounty you made by yourself. So if I decided to slaughter a town and then took it off after I was done, there would be no bounty on me.

Anyway, I have an idea for a new mini-series of mine. It’s called Maplestory Mythbusters, and I will go around the game and will investigate myths that you make up. It doesn’t have to be real, just as long as you wouldn’t be able to figure out without even testing it. I made up a few myths for myself to bust and here are the results:

Myth: Peter is a homosexual.

First, I made a Mythbuster that would stay on Maple Island for any Maple Island related quests. I went to Peter, who is either a brother of those other guys with the same colored jumpsuit as him or they are just identical friends. I stood around waiting for him to do something and I found two peices of evidence.

Another thing happens too fast to be documented, but you can see him winking for a split-second. It freaks me out.

Myth: Ploitely asking for money is better then being annoying

Since my old main character is stuck in Orbis I decided to see if I could beg for money to get back to Victoria Island. First I tried to ask some people for money with no annoyance and then would ask some people being really annoying and using a lot of abbreviations. Here are the results of my begging-

First I asked 4 male character and 1 female character playing as a male and 0 people gave me mesos. So far it isn’t looking very good. In all of these tests I only 2 people actually said no before cancelling the trade. All of these tests were done with proper spelling and almost no annoyance. I said “can I have some mesos?” in all of these tests.

I asked four male characters and 1 female character. I got one “screw you” and one “no” from the males. The female said “ok” and then quit the trade. I said “mesos plz” in all of these tests.

So neither are more profitable but asking with proper spelling gives you a better chance of getting money.

Plausible

Those are my two test myths. Post any myths that you would like me to include in my next blog. If enough people would like me to make another one I’ll continue this. I’ll be making a Victoria Island character as well since I will probably never make it back to Victoria Island on my main.
