I was training in level 6 of the Orbis Tower and you know there’s this mass of Leattys on the top. I sometimes just DS the lot of them until enough die to restore the spawn on the bottom half of the floor. So I was there on the bottom spawn when this dude comes along and finishes the kills on the top spawn. I noticed this because I saw a mass of “you have gained exp” messages Now because I’d done more damage to them then he did I got the drops. The drops happened to include a scroll.

He asked what it was and I said it was a 10% for shoe for jump, which it was. Dude left soon after so I’m guessing he’s gone to another floor or another channel.

The moral of the story is that you should always check a map to see if someone’s there before you start killing.

  1. well tis not like u can always tell if someones there cuz they might not show up on the map.
    and alot fo times, who wants to waste time looking for soemone who very well mgiht not even be there?

  2. Orbis Tower floors aren’t exactly giant maps.

    Edit : Scroll did fail but oh well. No loss there.

    i genereally assume that unless u go “GTFO NOOB” or “can u pelase cc?” the person would not care if u shared a map unless u encroached upon them.

  4. I prefer “could you please change channels?” I detest the word “noob” and as far as I’m concerned, text speak needs to stay in text.

  6. I’m polite but I’m also a smart arse and I also have a mean streak wider then Europe when someone plays silly games. I just use politeness first mostly because it works better but also I leave the nasty stuff after the politeness has ran out just for extra surprise factor.

    I only enjoy hearing noob when it’s in an unserious manner.

    for example some of my friends call me (first three letters of my real name)noob. And it actuall fits pretty well and sounds cool D: so I let them use it.
