Sprint and Slay part 1

The leaves of nearby trees rustled in the wind, and the sound of a snapping twig echoed like a cannon through the forest.

*huff huff huff*

Slimes quickly moved out of the way as these speeding demons rushed past, disregarding other signs of life.

*huff huff huff*

Ligators barely missed the blade as Crocos met a terrible end.

*BOOM*

An explosion could be heard in the distance.

“****,” muttered my comrade, Hidden, as we continued to move. “If we don’t hurry up, they’ll all die first.” Hidden drew his crossbow and shot an iron arrow through six Crocos blockig our path.

“I think we need to speed up,” I muttered, and increased momentum in my body. I channeled the energy from my body to Hidden’s, increasing his speed. “I’m gonna pick up the pace, you flank the monsters ahead.” With that, I drew my dagger and used Assaulter, teleporting myself to the next platform.

“Don’t leave me… nevermind…” Hidden fired an arrow of condensed mana. “This Soul Arrow should keep my arrow supply high, just in case.

I could hear the small crackles of breaking particles behind me. I looked back to see something in the distance, growing closer.

“HEY! Don’t leave me behind like that again!” Khaos came teleporting from the distance. “If you want to stay alive, that is.”

I noticed I was fatigued, but Khaos’ magic healed my wounds. “Thanks,” I shouted back, hurrying along.

I spotted it in the distance. It was evident Hidden did as well, firing two arrows (that barely missed my head) through the brush and straight into the arm of the beast that lay ahead. As I got closer, I noticed two of our comrades had already fallen to this gargantuan’s might. He turned to face us, a large spear in hand and a menacing look in his eye.

He grunted and looked back at someone. A warrior armed with a spear stood behind him, with a smug look on his face. He took a step forward and began to speak. “Go ahead, Taurospear. You can kill them too.” If I didn’t know better, I could have sworn Taurospear took that order with a smile. He aimed his spear at us, at a height 3 times our size, and jut it at us at incredible speed.

I jumped into the shadows and rushed to my fallen comrades to see if they were okay, but it seemed they were already dead. I looked back as I noticed angelic bursts of light and a constant stream of arrows firing shamelessly at the beast. I drew my dagger and prepared for a fight when the spear-wielding warrior called for me.

“Wait a second… Floo, is it? You’ll be dealing with me. And when I’m finished with you, I’ll show your comrades why their strongest leader is no stronger than a common cold. Prepare for this massacre, bandit… for it will be your last–“

I lunged for his side using Assaulter, but only scratched the armor as he barely managed to dodge. “I’m sorry,” I said with a smug look on my face. “Were you saying something?” I looked past him to see the Taurospear was no match for my allies. “Now I’ll show you why this common cold is nothing short of a deadly virus.”

  1. Well, since no one commented (yet), i’ll take the time to make a few slight explanations,

If you dont already know, Everyone except the Crossbowman has been depicted as a 3rd jobber (but he’s in a party with two of them), so you can probably guess he is either 3rd job or a 6x. You probably know the skills that were used, so i won’t explain too much about it, but you should have picked up quickly that for a party like this, Taurospear is Ant vs Foot, no competition.

If you didn’t pick up on it, I kind of added a PvP element in the last two “paragraphs” wih the encounter between the CB and the DK (yes, it’s a DK). In part two, you will notice when a particular move shakes the forest,

I hope to make part two as “epic” as possible. The DK will be stronger than I am, so my party members will (doubtlessly) get involved. And something new unfolds when we try to beat him down in a 3v1, don’t miss it ;D

  2. I was a bit confused at first (Probably ’cause I’m a complete idiot) but overall I understood most of it. Good job =)
    I commented ^.^

  3. It doesn’t really catch my attention and it was a bit confusing, but you shoudln’t stop. If you want to get better read
    BlackNazgul’s series
    SilverFx’s
    AznRiceFan’s.

There are more, but those are some of the best. Oh, and FireLeo is probably one of those.

Or you could read war books to improve on fight scenes or other books.

    You can read these
    link
    link

Or if you want fight scenes. . .
I got this from Ganzicus [didn’t actually read though. . .] he said ‘The Hidden Realm Series’ is it?

Oh, Ganzicus uses similiar vocabulary to it in his fanfics.

He also has the simpsons in it, too .

I don’t feel like typing anymore.

    Hope I helped.

  4. lol, dats long, if ur up to it, read Esteo, something, something, the one i wrote for her. She requested it. I personally think it’s pretty good. Also, someone wrote a parody to it, so if you find him, you can read that one too, it’s funny-ish

  5. lol, i’ll check him out, but not tonight, mid-terms tomorrow and i REALLY should have been asleep by now, but I had a story i wanted to get out before i forgot it.

i’ll add you and Rice to my friends and we’ll talk tomorrow.

  6. I like the common cold jibe.

But still it’s a bit rough, hm.
