My name is Jeremy and I am a level 60 Page. I have an illness that has been with me since birth and has started giving me heart pains since the age of five. I take Weird Medicines to keep my heart pains from acting up. And recently I fell in love. But was it love?

I exited the portal from the Free Market and found Thomas waiting for me at a cafe, drinking a medium coffee. Thomas is an level 65 Assassin. We started our Maple Story adventure together but I had to stop for a while due to some minor surgery which has given Thomas time to train to a greater level then me. I couldnt keep up. What surgery do you ask? I really cant say.

I jogged to him but he had gotten up and walked over to me before I could get to him.
“Hey Jeremy!” he greeted. “Got yourself a new Doombringer yet?”
“Yeah,” I replied. “Its a plus two Doombringer.”
“How much?” he asked.
“100,000 mesos and a date,” I answered. He stared at me for a few seconds.
“No seriously.”
“Well. . .”

I decided to tell him what happened with Ann. Thomas burst out laughing after I explained what happened.
“Listen Jeremy,” he began, “You should know that a girl doesnt come cheap for a date. You shouldve just paid full price for the sword and we’re all happy.”
“I wouldnt be happy,” I pointed out. He slapped me on the back.
“Alright lets go. I got us into a party of good leveled Maplers.”
“Let me grab a Pure Water first.”
“Catch.” He tossed me the bottled water.
“Thanks.”

We jogged towards Orbis Tower’s entrance before actually going into the party quest area itself. Thomas kept on looking around the area for the party and found the leader. . . And to his right was a pile of beer cans.
Dang. Guy must be a drunk.
Thomas didnt seem to mind though. He walked up to him and poured a bucket of water on his head.
“Whowhatwherewhenhowwhy?!?” he screamed out. He seemed sober up enough. He blinked twice. “So Tom, your friend here yet?”
“Yeah Jeremy is right here,” Thomas replied. I walked up and finished my Pure Water. I extended a hand.
“Name’s Jeremy just like Thomas said.” He just starred at my armor and Doombringer.
“You’re a level 60. How can you equip a level 70 sword?”
“You know I really dont know.” I expected him to say ‘OMG! HACKER!’ But he just ignored the fact and just pointed to a bunch of people which I would have guessed were the rest of our party members.

We jogged over to them and I decided to check out their stats. Two level fifty-five hunter and assassin, a level sixty-six cleric, and a level seventy spearman, who was the leader.
God help us through this.
Then I saw a party handcuffed by a GM. I wondered what they did, but I already knew that they must’ve glitched party quested. The GM began to speak.
“This entire party here has been banned for trying to do a GOPQ which stands for Glitch Orbis Party Quest.” The GM lifted a big hammer which I guessed must’ve been the Ban Hammer One. I wonder if they would have accsess to the Ban Hammer Two anytime soon. “And because of this, I must temporarily stop people from doing OPQ.”

I heard alot of people groan and complain but for some reason Thomas just shrugged his shoulders and started walking back to Orbis. I jogged up to him after I left the party.
“So where are you going?” I asked him.
“Home,” he replied flatly.
“Why?”
“I just want to.” He looked like he had gotten a headache.

I let him walk away from me when I notice I felt a pain in my chest. The pain felt like a thousand knives cutting apart my chest. I fumbled my inventory for any of the Weird Medicine. But then I noticed I didnt have any left. I fell onto the ground and I saw someone knelt beside me.
“Whats wrong with you?” she asked.

I coughed out blood in response.
