Heh, this is the first copy of my story so far, sort of a ‘proto-type’ of what the actual story is going to be like. Anyways, if you have the time to read through my chapters, (which I doubt) and leave some suggestions, that would help a lot. Mind you, this was much easier to type on WordPad then here, so expect more mistakes then the original copy.

Chapter 00: Prologue

In the universe of MapleStory, good and evil forces have been at a balance, or a mediocre peace so to speak. The many habitants who live in this world, both people and monsters have had some skirmishes in the past, but nothing extremely serious has occurred. This harmony has been maintained over the past years.

Three weeks ago, Henesys, the town of bowmen was under heavy attack by monsters. Many people who coincidentally were in the town at the time had got to defensive stances and held off the attack until the monsters withdrew.

Not a long time after that, the other three towns of Victoria Island: Perion, the mountainous town of warriors, Ellinia, the magical forest town of magicians and Kerning city, the urban city of thieves, were also sieged by a vicious attack of monsters.

Luckily, each of the recent attacks had been easily fought off by the people in the towns. However, each day the threat of another monster assault on the towns is present. Each attack appeared to become more persistant and ferocious then the last.

Many people noticed that the monsters seemed to be united under one common goal. No longer conflicting among themselves, and working together as a team. Some people guessed this was all coincidence and the monsters were just acting strange. However, others thought that something was controlling the monsters’ minds. Could this be true? That someone, or something is bending the monsters to one will?
