The Mapleworld lies in ruins. Henesys was decimated by a meteor. Perion was infected by a deadly disease. Ellinias trees rotted. Kerning citys skyscrapers were bombed. All because of one girl, Fiona, setting off a time bomb at the heart of the Dungeon.
It was the morning of the sixth day of the sixth month. Fiona was getting ready for an expedition to the Dungeon with her guildmembers to capture or liquidate the supposedly invincible Balrog. Slinging her ornately decorated bow and a quiver of steel arrows over her shoulder, she strolled towards the meeting point for the guild members.
In the heart of the Dungeon, however, the Balrog awoke from his slumber of one hundred and twenty five years. He roared, the critters of Victoria, Orbis and Maple Islands stumbled to safety. No human could hear it, leading to their demise seven days later.
