“Hey guys! Guys wait up! Come on this isn’t fair! You know my robes are too long for me!” I panted watching Matt and Cory run further away.

“Come on Dani keep up! Haha.” I glared at Cory as he danced a few feet in front of me. Jerks. I laughed when Cory fell on his ass trying to double stab the air with his dagger.

“Nice move.” Matt said grinning down at his little brother.

“That’s what you get for running ahead.” I sat down next to the two boys as Cory tried fixing his torn sleeve. Maybe I should summarize this before continuing any further.

~Summary~
This story starts in a small town named Lith Harbor. There lived two very happy families. One was blessed with a little girl. Their only child. While the other had two young boys with a year’s difference between them. Growing up Matthew and Cory Cambridge had it well off. Wealthy parents, the best schooling and a well known last name. Where Daniel Hare had the exact opposite upbringing . Her parents could barely afford dinner each night let alone good schooling. Determined she taught herself all she knew with the support of her loving parents to back her up. They all lived happy lives until havoc struck. The monster of Victoria Island decided to rebel against the people. Villages were burned to the ground and families destroyed. A certain breed of creatures all the way from El Nath attacked the little town of Lith. The Cambridge children were sent to hide in the cellar with their servants as their parents when off to fight. Their father a Bandit and mother a Wizard prepared for the battle and said their last good byes. The Hare family on the other hand were sent to a shelter for protection. Sadly to say the battle didn’t go as well as the humans planned. The creatures over powered their numbers and won by a landslide. Even sadder to say the shelter was attacked and only one person came out as they were when they entered. With the Cambridge parents deceased and the Hare’s unable to care for a child the children were sent to live with their new guardians. This is where this story ends and our new story begins in the bustling streets of Henesys.
~End Summary~

“Hey have either of you seen that new girl? She’s pretty banging.” I always wondered why Cory carried around a pocket sized sewing kit. I guess this answered my question. He finished stitching his shirt and turned his attention to polishing the love of his life. His Deadly Fin. Cory always took the best care of his dagger. It was said in his parent’s will to be given to him and he’s taken the best care of it since.

“Yeah. I have. How old is she?” I asked. Cory shrugged in response.

“I think she’s our age Dani. I saw her with her grandparents at Sara’s house. Signing her up for schooling next year and they we’re talking to Mr. Kraw. From what I know he teaches children our age.” Replied Matt I seemed to have this pull to the mysterious girl. For some odd reason the moment I laid eyes on her something told me to talk to her. But me being me. I chickened out. Though I am curious about who she is and where she came from. Why is she with her grandparents and what her destined job was.

“Race you guys home!” Cory said running ahead with Matt not too far behind him. I wondered if I should even bother. Nah…I’ll take my time. It’s always a beautiful sight to see the sun set over the hills anyway.
