This is another poem. XD I just love writing them. =D

Betrayed

Guilt overwhelmed me.
What happened to us?
We used to be best of friends.
It’s like a curse,
My longing to be free.

I remembered old times,
How we did everything together.
It seemed only like yesterday.
But our friendship didn’t last forever.
Not even with bountiful memories of XL size.

Forgive me my friend,
For i could not help.
The fault’s not with you.
Like a puppy I yelped,
Wounds of guilt no one could tend.

Yet again,
A dark side of me prevailed.
She deserved it.
Countless thoughts of her revealed
That she was dragging me down with a chain

Enough explained I thought,
She is different now,
An enemy and not a friend.
Stabbing her soul and filling it with sorrow,
Along with numerous thoughts I forgot.

My wounds of guilt never healed,
A repugnant scar left on my soul.
Never could I flushed my thoughts about her.
My guilt clung onto me and didn’t go,
And it will never will…
