Seraphim’s Tear Chapter 2

DON’T LOOK AT THE PICS YET!

I’ll tell you when to look at them. The 1st one is just something I thought looked nice lol, nothing to do with the story.

Well here’s the first, real chapter, the other two were just plain bad…anyway, enjoy.

Chapter 2: Revelation

A single drop of tear fell from his cheek, the first one in a long time…

Look at the 2nd pic, took it from the game Shining Tears.

A fraction after she ducked, she heard the whistling of the Holy Arrow fly right beside her and the sound of it piercing the heart of the Dragon Knight and pinning him to the mountain, instantly killing him. She looked straight at him and saw that he was casting a spell; she quickly looked away, just in time. The Shining Ray of light that came forth from the incantation could have blinded her; it did blind the unprepared pursuers though. While she had her eyes closed, she felt him grab her hand and drag her towards a Mystic Door. He pushed her in and threw a Summoning Rock on the ground as a summoning circle appeared under him.

-I call upon the guardian of Eternal Ice, come forth, Fryenz!

A deafening roar came from the gate opened by the summoning circle; a huge white dragon came out of it.

Look at the 3rd pic, googled it.

-Anathema to all who oppose us, those were the last words he said before going through the gate after Alina…

The dragon knew what he has been summoned here for; he was to annihilate all the remaining pursuers. He channelled the energy around the Holy Ground and formed a sphere with it; the energy contained inside it was extremely unstable. He threw it towards the top of the mountain and flew away as it exploded into a nova of frozen death. The explosion caused an enormous avalanche that buried those in its path. From the twenty seven person that went up the mountain, nineteen were dead, three were completely disabled and five were missing.

As she walked through the door she arrived at the place she always did when she went through a Mystic Door. The cozy little house where the two of them lived, shortly after, she saw him come through the Door as it faded away.

-You know, I never thought you’d betray all of them just to save me, she said.
-I told you that your life is too important to be lost, I can’t allow you to die, he answered.

They both turned around as a form emerged from the forest surrounding their home, they recognized the man coming at the.

-Run towards the waterfall Alina, I’ll catch up to you as soon as I’m done with him.
-Are you sure you’ll be okay?
-Do you think someone like him can kill or even hurt me?
-Guess not, see you soon then.

As she said that she jumped away in a flash at an amazing speed, she was already out of sight when he turned back to look at the intruder.

-I guess you weren’t with those fools at the Holy Ground after all.
-I’m not like them; I’m not after the bounty, all I want is to rid the world of the evil that you are.
-You are a Paladin after all; all you do is for justice isn’t it?
-I must do what is right for the greater good, now prepare yourself!

He rushed towards the magician, his holy sword; the Heaven’s Gate, had lightning crackling around it, Lightning Charge, one of his specialties. A simple Teleport and he was out of reach again, notching a Holy Arrow, he aimed at the Paladin’s heart. The shaft of holy light flew towards his armoured chest, only to be knocked away by the Paladin’s Power Guard.

-You can do better then that! He taunted.
-Indeed.

Throwing his holy bow away he materialised a sword out of nowhere, it looked the same as a rapier except that its edge were as sharp as a dagger. He teleported right behind him and trusted his sword at him, he narrowly managed to doge it. He teleported behind him again as he tried to turn around and this time he did hit him. An estoc right through the heart wasn’t something you could recover from. The Paladin fell on the ground as the sword disappeared from his body leaving a small hole where his heart was.

-I expected you to put up a better fight, I guess that’s what they mean by: To live by the sword and die by the sword.

After burning the corpse, he teleported to the waterfall.

He appeared right next to Alina who was shooting shurikens at a nearby tree.

-So you’re back, now what? She asked.
-Alina we’re surrounded, he whispered.
-I know, they were too numerous so I thought it would be better if I waited for you before acting.
-A good idea that you had there, now listen, I want you to do exactly what I tell you too.
-Okay.

-Jump! He yelled.

They jumped off the cliff towards the waterfall; their pursuers didn’t waste time to think why they did that and started to jump from ledge to ledge towards the bottom as well. The mage materialised five Summoning Rocks and yelled at Alina:

-Do it now!

She channelled her Chakra and to use one of her secret skills.

-Kage Jutsu, yoinokuchi! (Shadow Arts, Nightfall!)

The Sun was suddenly replaces by a moonless night, a veil of darkness fell over the world. The only light was coming from the summoning circle and the five Summoning Rocks that were glowing in the darkness.

-From the pact formed before the world began, I call upon the Seraphim of the seven Heavens to aid me in my endeavour. I call upon you by your name, Cyllia, the Eternal Seraph, his voice rang soft and cold.

The circle lighted up in a dark, bloody red color as a gate from another dimension formed over it. From the gate came the six-winged angel known as the Eternal Seraph, Cyllia, her sword gleaming in the darkness.

Look at the 4th and last pic, I really like this one.

-Anathema to all who oppose us…she whispered.

Well it’s finally done, it took me forever to find the pic for Cyllia and I had a hard time choosing the one for Fryenz sorry.
