No acrostics this time, just a simple poem that rhymes XDI hope you like it, I love the title.

December 32nd

My Calendar marks a very Special Day,
A hope that has kept me to survive.
I am Pathetic and Naive, some may say,
but I still long for the day you arrive.

Days past, realizing the sounds ticking.
Time is not on my side, it’s flowing too fast.
Foreverness is drowning me, but I’m still waiting,
because I have faith, I believe our love will last.

I watch the stars tonight,remembering you by my side.
A wish I made through the meteor rain,
Will bring you back to me, but tears fell, I cried.
I’m still finding, still searching for the reason to this pain.

Someone sent my flowers today, they smell so sweet.
I know you are very near, I know you will be back.
Gripping a letter you once wrote, just a simple sheet,
I once had all the love, and now that’s what I lack.

You promised me we could see fireworks at new years eve.
As you set off with that cold hard metal,
I couldn’t stand the fact, but you had to leave.
You gave me a vow – after all obstacles we would settle.

Hanging on a hope every day and night,
I flip my calendar, but there were no more pages.
Everyday, I hope to catch a sight,
of your triumphant return with your fellow mages.

I opened the curtains as the snow fell so lightly,
Checking my calendar again, what is the date?
The snow reflected the sun so brightly.
Optimism convinced me you’re only late.

January has not yet arrived,
I cannot have a new start without you.
All the obstacles we faced,
Alone, I cannot pass through.

I see a tombstone, a body that lay.
But I know you’re coming back to celebrate.
December won’t leave me, it will stay.
I will be waiting, because this is Fate.

things you have to know:
1. The girl is insane.
2. The guy went to war and died.
3. Reasons it’s called December 32nd is because the guy promised to watch fireworks with her = the day he’s back = January 1st (but he never came back..)
4.One part doesn’t rhyme…XD but oh well~
5. no acrostic…my brain hurts from those
6. This is a very personal poem, it also has another meaning in it ^^ if you can see it….@________@
