Mesos Pl0x! – A Guide

Did you think this is another begging blog? Another blog about noobs? Well, you’re actually right. I am writing a guide for begging for mesos =)

Begging for Mesos

Rule # 1: Be literate. Potential funders like it when you type properly. Don’t type l33t or pR0. Real pros don’t like that.

Ever trade some pro, who cancels in your face when you spam “M3z4rz pL0xX0r?”

It happens all the time. Frankly, most pros don’t like illiterate noobs.

Rule # 2: Be respectful and courteous whenever possible.

Potential funders will like you more if you include your “pleases” and “thank yous”. They may even be inclined to give you more money. Most pros shun unkind noobs.

Also, be considerate. Don’t spam, especially not: PLZplzplzplzplzpl0x!

People don’t like people who spam.

Rule # 3: Don’t threaten others.

Never threaten others. Example: “Mezzors or dfame!”

Never do that. Others will be inclined to not give you money, or they may defame you. Always be careful.

Rule # 4: Don’t be overaggressive.

Firstly, you publically ask others for mesos. Then, after no one gives you mesos, you proceed to trade others. Make sure you are still respectful.

Suggestion # 1: Compliment others, and flatter them. Complimenting their weapons or armor, especially if they look nice or is expensive may be a good way to gain some money. Even if you get none, everybody wins.

Overview

So, let us review. Make sure you are literate – type in complete sentences and correct English. However, don’t take too long or your potential funder may become impatient.

Be courteous and respectful – this will make you look good and smart, even while begging. It will likely land you more mesos, as well. Also mind your manners. Please and thank you are good words to know, even if you get nothing.

Spamming is something you never do, unless you are a noob.

Never threaten others. People like a relaxed atmosphere. If you make it tense, they’ll just cancel the trade and leave you, and potentially defame you.

Never be overaggressive. If you are overaggressive, then the trade will be canceled in your face.

Complimenting and flattery may be good ways to make everyone feel good, and possibly get you some mesos.

Finally, have perseverance, and don’t falter! If you keep going on, begging as a good person, you will get money. My friend make 250k in Aquila like this; without wasting too much time.

Lol, it is certainly quite polite. However, I, being the person I am, probably won’t donate any mesos.

True.

‘Can you please give me some mesos. .?’

People will know that something is wrong when a level 122 priestess is begging for mesos o.o

TheReplaced said: “You can never be too high leveled. I had a 90 CB chasing after me for meso.”

You’re right. I once saw this level 72 sin (pre 3rd job times) who was begging this level 5X mage for mesos. Unfortunately, he accidentally used Lucky Sevens, and a pair of shiny steely flew out. XD

  1. Yah, this might actually be a little useful if all the noobs who beg for mesos in L337 talk would actually read this.
