*Gets flamed for copying an ageless joke*

I really am pathetic. In desperation, I actually formatted my computer to play Flyff. And that wasn’t a waste of almost 2 hours of time. I lost nothing important, and for the first time in my life, I played Flyff without thy lag…

Well, I had to set everything (graphics) at the lowest setting to prevent any lag, due to the speed (or rather the lack of it) of my computer. I was finally able to play for the first time. It was quite interesting and throughly enjoyable. However, Flyff doesn’t seem to be a game that is newbie friendly. Research provided almost no information of use to me. I had to call my retired Flyff friend to ask him all about it, such as how to loot and set keys, use skills etc.

And I suffer from a chronically annoying glitch. I have an 8.2 year old graphics card. It really phails at delivering clean, decent graphics. But worse, it gives me annoying graphical glitches. I didn’t take an SS of it because I was annoyed. Remind me next time to show you my aggravating affliction that strikes every 10 minutes or so, making it impossible for me to play most games. This affliction also regularly strikes MS, and even makes it hard for me to see even when I’m not doing anything at all ._.

I will still need a faster computer and a newer graphics card. The good news is that I think that I can upgrade my computer within a week. Mind you, this is no decent computer, still around 5 years old. But every megabyte of memory counts, every megahertz of CPU. Most importantly, I’ll soon have a graphics card that doesn’t suffer from my graphical glitch (even though it will be integrated, probably with less than 4 MB of Video RAM and maybe, it doesn’t even support 3D Acceleration -_-;.

Overall, it was still quite an enjoyable experience. I believe that I will become a magician (After I can do some actual training/playing when I don’t get killed by my graphics glitch). I haven’t decided between Elementor or Psykeeper yet, but I am leaning towards Elementor because:

1. I like elements and damage bonuses, as well as AoE.
2. They get more skills to choose from
3. I get to compete against Silver, who is an amazing 20-30 levels higher than me ._.
