I’m only summarising the chapters all over again as I had noticed somehow the quotation marks came out in weird symbols. I’ve corrected them and edited the story a bit, cutting out all the really sh*tty parts I don’t like. Anyways this is mainly posted for my own reference, so I won’t expect many likes. Feel free to comment though XD.
PS: As for my Winners & Losers I’m suffering a writer’s block so it will not come out so soon. Sorry!
PART 1
I wielded a deadly omega spear. Strutting proudly, the sound of heavy commodore armour clanked with every step I took. Nearby, a white pangs eyes followed me with every step I took, its teeth snarling. There had been recent blizzards and food was scarce, even for experienced hunters residing in the cold fields near El Nath. The white pang had gone hungry for a few days already and it was not one to let chances slip.
With an intimidating roar, it launched itself at me. I sighed at its foolishness. This battle was almost too easy to win.
In a flash, I struck. A cry of pain swept alongside the cold winds. The white pang lay on the ground, silent and still. My omega spear slowly lost the luminous glow from its blade and recovered from the impact of my buster attack.
I laughed loudly, jeering at its foolishness to pick on me. I then turned my head to face a yeti, stunned by my previous attack, slowly backing away. Just for laughs, I approached it and held my spear up. The yeti immediately hit the ground with its fists in attempt to scare me off.
The tremor of the earthquake was strong, but not powerful enough to injure me. Seeing that, the yeti tried to flee. I let it and returned back to El Nath, satisfied. In my life, I had never really encountered a monster powerful enough to threaten me. The balrogs, jr and crimson, were strong but not nearly close enough. Thanatos and gatekeepers had lost the fight to me as well. Bains were not a problem either. Basically, nothing was my match.
How many times had I seen a foolish person, maybe a mage or hermit, attempting to challenge me? The answer was simple: As many times as I had killed one. Yes, people also recognised me for my ruthlessness, which was probably the reason why I never had a girlfriend before. Nobody respected me; they only feared and loathed my presence. I did not care. To me power was all that mattered.
I returned back to the El Nath inn before settling to a quiet evening lazing on the bed in my room. It had been a long day and I was tired.
Staring out of the window, I noticed a girl sitting alone by herself in a nearby restaurant. Maybe it was time I got myself a girlfriend, I thought. Who would be that lucky one? I pondered over the matter, enjoying the lustrous heat of the heater with my sauna robe on, and my armour piled by the bedside.
Slowly, seconds seemed like minutes and minutes seemed like hours. My eyelids sealed and in no time, my conscience floated away into a distant land of dreams.
I found myself walking around in an area of darkness. The environment seemed very familiar. It was the dungeon in El Nath, where cerebes resided. But this place was strangely empty. Then, a HUGE creature rose from nowhere and struck me with a bolt. I staggered back and kneeled down, my whole body shivering. The power was unbelievably strong and I could not take it much longer. The monster then came into light and I winced to try to make out what could have cause it.
“What the-“
I stared in horror. It was a gigantic stone block-like creature and possessed eight arms. Each arm had different purposes and seemed to have a life of its own. I had never seen a monster so strong before.
Then I hit something hard and opened my eyes. I was lying on the marble floor beside my bed. So it was all a dream. Never mind, I told myself, dreams only depicted impossible happenings. But little did I know how wrong I was.
PART 2
I gazed out of the window. The weather was still rough and there was not a single soul wandering in the cold. Shifting my eyes to the restaurant, I noticed that the girl was gone. What time was it? I fumbled my hands in the dark for my clock and glanced at it.
What! It was already 5am in the morning! I wondered if I had really slept that long. Cursing myself, I walked over to the cabinet and opened it, then gasped in shock. My armour was no where in sight! Desperately, I searched the whole room from top to bottom, but it did not help.
Then, I remembered that I had left it with the laundry. It was a common practise of mine, but I was still hitting my head at my sudden forgetfulness.
Making my way down to the laundry, I collected my dark commodore armour, dark dragon babuta, dark war grieve, dark imperial and dark giles cape. It might have seemed verbose to mention dark so many times, but there were no questions to my preferences. Dark was obviously the best.
It was a fresh start for a new day, and I decided to go hunting. Which unlucky monster would become victim to my spear today? I decided to head over to the El Nath dungeon. The jr bulldogs there were cute and I loved the way they cried pathetically when I prepared my attack. I made my way past the werewolf territory and the forest of dead trees, reaching the cave of trail.
Just then, I spotted an old man sitting by the lava. I felt a familiar sense of cruelty and wanted to push him into the lava so he could perish. But as I walked nearer to him, a sound filled my head. Was it a screech or a roar? I could not make it out, but there was an uncanny familiarity, like I had heard the sound before.
“Whoa watch out young man” The old man cried, and I came back to my senses. I had, in despair to get rid of the sound, almost fallen into the lava.
“This fortunate guy has saved me once,” I shrugged. “Guess I shall spare him as well.”
I asked him what business he had in the cave of trail, presuming he was lost and in need for help.
“Why do you ask?” The old man wisped. “You think you are so strong. Why don’t you take on Zakum then! Legend says that anybody who entered its residence never came out.”
I looked at him sceptically. “Have you not heard of me before? You are looking at the most powerful person to walk the earth.”
The old man squinted at me. “Well, you look strong, but never in Zakums league.”
“I dare you to repeat that!”
I was enraged. Nobody had the guts to insult me, and those who had courted death. But then I caught sight of the girl I had seen the other day. I ignored the old man and walked towards her. She was clad in a purple enigma and froze the cerebeses with her ice strike.
“Hi, may I enquire what a pretty and innocent girl like you might be doing here?” I remarked flirtatiously.
“Hey! Youre Bryan?! Ive seen you on the news before.” The girl remarked. “I’m Samantha.”
I wanted to continue, but my speech was interrupted by the appearance of a bowman.
“Hey Bryan, meet my boyfriend, Richard. We have been steads for a few years already.” The man rested his dark raven on the stone and greeted me.
I shook his hand, a cold smile hiding my gritting teeth. Well, so what if Samantha had a boyfriend? The solution was easy; all I had to do was to get rid of his irritancy.
PART 3
I grinned at Richard and pulled him aside. “Hey, nice girl you’ve got!”
“You think I didnt know you were eyeing her? I warn you, youd better stay away from her or Ill show you hell.” He snarled back.
I forced a sly smug out from the corner of my mouth. Samantha noticed the conversation between us heating and held Richards hand tightly. “Dear, lets go. I dont think we should stay around here any longer with SOME people.”
They then left. I tilted my head back and imagined Richard smacked dead by me. What a great sight! This grudge would certainly be a long one.
After a long day of hunting at the cave of trail, I dragged my loot of bain collars and cerebes teeth back to El Nath. I then bargained at the El Nath pot shop and tricked the shop keeper into thinking cerebes teeth were as effective as rhino horns for Chinese medicine. He paid me an inflated price of 5000 mesos per tooth.
I then bought a tower scroll from some passer-by and went to Orbis to do the exchange quest. I managed to snag around 5 cape scrolls and the rest, ores.
By the time I had reach El Nath again it was already quite late. I sat in a tub full of hot water and got ready to hatch an evil conspiracy of getting rid of Richard. I would appear friendly to Samantha and slowly win her liking, and then when a time came where she trusted me a lot, I would kill Richard, and Samanthas trust for me would make me the least possible suspect.
It sounded perfect, and very mean. But since harshness, mercilessness and cruelty were my middle names, what difference would it make?
Then, I realised that in order to win Samantha’s affection, I would have to put up with a temporary change in behaviour, like an alter ego. But was that possible? I had never been good in acting anyway.
By now, I was so immersed with my thoughts that I didnt notice a small light shining near me-
ROOOOOOOAAAAR!!!!!!! A crash swept across the hall and in no time, my whole room collapsed. A huge piece of ceiling crashed down on the tub, but I was still alive.
Quickly, I grabbed my sauna robe and slipped it on. As I made my way out of the rubble, I saw a tall werewolf looming over me.
I know at my level, werewolves were not exactly a hassle to deal with but if one attacks you while you are bathing, that really sucked. I searched among the broken pieces of cement for my omega spear. But it was not there. IT WAS NOT THERE!!! I almost choked on my gasping.
“Looking for this?” A shady figure clad in dark robes from head to toe held up my precious weapon. “Don’t despair, I will sell this and buy you a Valhalla helm instead since you will be going there sooner or later! MUAHAHAHA!”
I clinched my teeth. Immediately, my eyes scanned the area for spare spears. Please let there be a spearman somewhere around here. Just then I saw a noob carrying a forked spear. It was pathetic, but it would have to do.
I grabbed the forked spear and briefed the noob, who just became a spearman. I was ONLY borrowing the item and would return it to him later.
“But its new! It was my birthday present! My mummy gave it to me! WAAAA!!!” I left him wailing. He was never going to make it big in life. Seriously, a fish spear at lvl30?
At first it took a long time but eventually, I inserted my dragon powers into the spear and launched it at the werewolf. “You wanna roar? Ill show you how to roar!” I shouted and summoned my signature purple dragon. Barney would have to see it to realise what a REAL dragon, or dinosaur in any case, was.
Some people screamed in terror. Some people covered their eyes. But I just stood in exhaustion as an enormous purple dragon appeared and attacked the werewolf with a blast of sound.
The werewolf swayed back and forth and crashed into the ground, owned by a pathetic forked spear. “Wow! My new spear rocks! And the first monster it owned was a werewolf!” The noob exclaimed proudly.
“Yeah kid take it back, it sucks.”
“At least it can kill a werewolf! WOOH YA! I’m gonna try killing another one later!”
“Shut up kid, I’d like to see you try.”
I sat on the ground and stared at the ruins of my hotel room. The man who had stolen my omega spear was gone, leaving it behind. I wondered if I would have to pay for the hotel damage.
“Hey yo yang fella, ya payin fer that?” A hotel manager carrying a book entitled ‘Being Hip for Dummies’ swayed over, actually thinking he was cool. At least on the bright side, somebody answered my question.
“Hell no.”
“Well then Im keepin ze cool armo and stick of yos!” The hotel manager clenched his fist and stuck out a chubby middle finger. Chatting with jerks like him was sickening.
“By the way, do you know that letting your guests damage what ever they want and not making them pay is being hip?” I sacarstically croaked. It was a lousy attempt at avoiding the situation, but it was better than not trying.
“REALLY? Hmph then scram, keiddo, I aint need no mersos from yer, I can pay by marself. See, you sark and Im hippy! Take back yer lousy friggin armour!”
That manager was making a fool of himself. Meanwhile, I set up a tent on the borders of El Nath and camped there.
By now, a lot of questions kept on buzzing in my head. Who was that man? Why did he summon a werewolf near me? Was he trying to kill me? Did he have anything to do with my dream? If so, in what way was he related?
Life just had to be complicated, didn’t it?
For now I would get have to get back to work on my plan to erase Richards existence from Earth.
what is a writer’s block?
It means that you can’t write, or have no ideas. Make the next chappie of Winners and Losers soon please!
You should write a part 2 when they die again in heaven, jk cause im a loser
ZAKUM HAD BROKEN HIM INTO TWO!”
Lol, kind of awkward there. Make him have like a flashback or something, some emotions for his friend. Otherwise, it was pretty good ^^
Lol? This is an old story being compiled
Yeah dariidar this is not a new one. I just edited my old Love Confessions of a DK story and compiled it. Ah, those were the good days when it could snag over 15 likes *sniff*
the only flaw in the whole story is the broke in two part,i say that was kinda a stupid idea,it would be way better if it said richard was crushed by zakum cause its hard to imagine some bowman getting cut into two pieces by zakum, Love confessions of a Dk is the best story i read in my life!Devilrymage dont stop writing or ill kill you!, when we find out the new 3 headed dragon bosses name plz right a story where bryans son becomes a dragon knight too and kills the dragon boss in kms plz!11
Erm, I WOULD appreciate it if you did not threaten my friend by killing him. But I must admit, his stories are FANTASTIC.
Okay, but Bryan NEVER had a son. He died -_-‘
Thanks for the comments :] ND F/P RAWKS BURN EVERYTHING W00TS
