Ok, I have ran across people all during my time on Maplestory who will rudely say “CC Plz”, and here is my rant about them.
First off, if you want someone to do something for them, TAKE THE TIME TO SPELL IT OUT! Shortening the phrase “could you please change channels” does not take a half an hour to type, and if you take the time, most people will listen to you as well. Case in point here is when I was at Octopuses on my bandit to be. Instead of yelling “CC Plz”, I kinding asked for the person to change channels so we could both level faster since I knew there were empty channels (yes, I checked, I was channel surfing not too long before <_< ), and the person changed channels while smiling.
The other thing I want to get at is that people who constantly say that are ruining the community of the game. It is the most annoying thing in the world (actually, it is second only to those who type in all caps >_< ). It is especially annoying when you are “CC Plz”ed (I’m not even going to classify the act as asking), and you are only passing through and the person has a hissy over it..
Honestly, just grow up and learn to spell…
And then there’s the jerk-mages who will walk in and start ksing, I ask them “Please leave, I’m trying to train and you’re messing it up.” and go “if you want me to leave, ks me.” Knowing I full well can’t do that, >_> not all mages do this, but to the ones who do. Leave MapleStory, you’re just taking up the space on the servers.
I agree with everything you said, DarkPwnage. I’ve been having the same things happen to me, especially when I was in the Wild Boar Land II. >_>;
You know what I hate the most? People that say “cc pls i wuz here first”, when they weren’t really here first. Those people deserve to be shot.
i hate wen im just walking through and someone says “cc plz or i mass defame”, then few months later, no defames lol, heres how it went wit me:
me, lvl 40 walked through stirges, coming back from jr wraiths. little lvl 20 rogue comes and says “cc or mass defame u b~tch” then i jsut say “im walk through, noob” then he says “oh no! i used my fame for today already!”

I especially hate the ice/lightning mages who teleport all over the map like they own the whole thing, even if you were there first
Whats with everyone having problems with mages, Everyone can ks. I got ksed by all classes before! And people are DIFFERENT,
D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T, Got it memorized? (from KH2, couldnt resist) And if you have like really bad lag, ugh, I got ksed by a level 9 beginner ’cause of really bad lag.
I don’t mind people saying “cc plz” when they’re in a giant mob. But I usually get annoyed when they say “CC PLOX” or “CC PLZ@@!2121211@@@”.
i dun like wether people ask me politely to cc or rudely 1 thing the maps are public its not ure no one gives a crap ure here first or not
But it is polite to respect their request if they ask kindly,
And also, I have never had problems with mages. It is mostly Assassins that are doing ksing now. Like yesterday, an assassin walked into an area on my brother and as soon as he went in said “don’t care” and began ksing the crap out of him.
I do take the time to give like a good speech
“Please Change Channels, Your Kindness is gretly appriciated”.
But now I’ve been experiencing 100% pure a-holes in Z lupin tree now. And they deny me even with my kindness
So now I am too impatent to type all thatbull, CC PLOX. FOllowed by massive extermination of monsters in their face. It actually works better. Except with the longer speech I get fame.
