Love At First Sight/ Numero Douze.

Nami’s eyes fluttered then opened slowly, a powerful white light shone into her eyes causing her to flinch. She rubbed her eyes then opened them again, this time she saw Shane.

“Hey sport, how you doing?” Shane whispered.
“Good. Where am I? And how’d I get here?” Nami asked.
“You’re at a hospital and you fainted when you finished the test.” Shane answered.
“Oh, well thanks for bringing me here.” Nami said.

Shane grinned at her and fixed her pillow so she could sit up. When Nami tried to sit, she felt pain everywhere in her body. She flinched but continued to sit up. Shane handed her a glass of water and Nami drank it. Nami then closed her eyes for the briefest moment, trying to remember what happened. She remembered fighing monsters, and how badly wounded she was, but she wouldn’t give up, because that’s not an option for her. Shane’s voice the interrupted her thinking.

“Well there’s good news and some bad news.” Shane said.
“What’s the good news?” Nami asked.
“Since you passed the test, the instructor along with Dark Lord has promoted you to Assassin class. You should be very proud.” Shane said with a smile.
“I do, thank you. So what’s the bad news?” Nami asked sounding concerned.
“Doctor says that your wounds are almost in critical condition and that you have to stay in the hosipital for at least a week.” Shane replied.
“Ok.” Nami said disappointed.
“It’s not a problem, sport. I know you want to try out your Assassin skill, but you’re gonna have to wait.
“Alright.” Nami replied yawning.
“Looks like you’re tired, you should get some rest.” Shane said.

Nami nodded and Shane stepped out of the room for her to get some rest. When Nami looked outside the window she it was pouring heavily over Kerning City. She wondered why she was reminded of Kuroki when she nearly fainted during that test. Nami shook her head to clear the thoughts and went to sleep.

Nami was sleeping soundly when she heard foot steps. She bolted straight up, crying in pain as she remembered the wounds on her body. Then a gloved hand snatched around her mouth causing Nami to struggle frantically.

“Shhh, you’ll draw attention.” The voice behind her said.

Judging by the sound, Nami knew it was a guy. He dragged her off the bed in a standing position. Nami tried stomping on his feet, but he evaded it. She tried kicking him where the ‘family jewels’ were, but he evaded that as well.

“Stop struggling and I won’t hurt you, you’re already in a lot of pain.” He said and took his hand off her mouth.

Then Nami screamed, she didn’t care if he was going to kill her. She screamed and screamed, then he held a cloth and poured some white powder into it and closed it over her mouth. Nami stopped struggling and blacked out.

To Be Continued…o.O
