Kuroki’s emotions scrambled around his head. He clamped his eyes down hard, his bow in front of his face. When Kuroki didn’t feel anything, he opened his eyes to take a peek. The Priest took the shot. But she quickly recovered and started to rapidly say spells to get the Balrogs attention. Kuroki quickly ran to the door, but noticed that it was jammed. He looked around for a safe place. He then ran to the front of the ship.
The Priest kept on attacking the Balrogs with Holy Arrows. But it didnt, (Note: This has nothing to do with the story, but I just died at Crimson Balrogs) the Balrogs kept on clawing at the priest. Then the Priest closed her eyes for a few seconds then whispered a spell and a bright shining light hits the Balrogs causing them to flinch. Then the Priest kept on whispering the same spell over and over while Kuroki watched with amazement. Then she used Holy Arrow again and one of the Balrog died. The other one was flying directly at the Priest and then she was knocked over. Kuroki’s body was screaming at him to go over and help her, but he knew that if he did he would be in big trouble. Kuroki couldn’t do anything but watch.
Then the Priest got back up and shot 1 final Holy Arrow at the Balrog. The Balrog then disappeared along with its’ ship and a scroll dropped. The Priest tried to stand up, but her legs wouldn’t agree and she dropped on the deck. Kuroki ran over to her and helped her back on her feet.
“Thanks.” The Priest said.
“Your welcome, are you ok?” Kuroki asked with genuine convern.
“Yeah, just a little tired. May you help me get my scroll?” The Priest asked.
“Sure.” Kuroki replied.
Kuroki laid her down gently and climbed on the sails to retrieve the scroll. When he got the scroll he went back down and handed it to the Priest.
“Thanks. Why did you attack the Balrogs? You couldn’t fight them.” The Priest stated.
“I know, I only wanted to distract them so you can take them down.” Kuroki said.
“Oh, well you helped a lot. Thanks again.” The Priest said with a smile.
“No problem.” Kuroki said.
Then Kuroki puts her arm around his shoulder and carries her down to the bottom deck. The Priest was stunned for a moment. She never lets a guy touch her, unless he was her family or very close friend. Then a sudden memory flashed in her mind, she was somewhere dark, she was falling and she was screaming. Then she shook her head. There was a long silence when they were walking.
“My name’s Nadine.” She said.
“My name’s Kuroki, where you headed?” Kuroki asked.
“I’m going to meet my master in Ellinia. What about you?” Nadine said.
“I’m searching for a very old friend.” Kuroki replied.
“I see.” Nadine said.
Kuroki setted her down in a corner of the ship. She used Heal and her wounds were instantly healed up. Kuroki sighed in relief to see that Nadine was okay. But something was nudging the side of his head. He looked into her eyes, but she didn’t see him. Her eyes were deep-sea blue. Could this be Natalie?
