Todays leveling started kind of bland. I was Plug hunting on Sophie, when a friend of mine asked me to switch to my Assist. I did and he can’t keep a connection. So I died, then he disconnected soon after. I was about to get off when the leader of the party I was filling asks me if I need a partner, so I of course agreed.
Turned out it was a Battle Ringmaster. I had never met a bRM before. All I know is they use the RM buffs for themselves and fight similar to a Billposter. It somehow works. I had never seen a bRM firsthand, so I decided to go for it.
Valoo0 turned out to be a very nice person, and we had an interesting talk about how FS Assists are treated bad. I shared my method, and he told me I had a cool style. It just so happened a beggar had come along before this.
So a beggar comes along and he’s like “bufff plz” and I’m like “no >.>” and he continues to beg. I told him to say it in sentences, and he walked away. So Valoo0 complements me on how I handled that and I told him that’s how I am. I don’t take kindly to beggars if they’re not nice to me or ask badly.
The thing many support Assists don’t realize is that the other classes NEED us. I for one will not be in a party where my partner doesn’t respect me, and don’t like people who beg for buffs.
So for this Blog I will conclude with this: Valoo0 is a cool bRM, and if you meet him in Mia, say hello. =)

When I read the title for this blog, I was thinking “A Black Redmage? Awesome!”. That way, he can learn level 9 black magic and still have OK attack power! That’s awesome.

I was thinking the same thing! But at a cost for having boosted black magic, he must lose some white magic. Red mages are supposed to be balance but that would throw everything off.

Of course, I always appreciate replies, though.
Personally I would like to be a Summoner or Blue Mage. They can learn some kicking moves.
Who wants a Red Mage when you could have a Black Mage to kill, and a White Mage to heal? Multi tasking as Healer/Offence is hard, and having two people to focus on their one job is more effective I say.
Also, Kudos to you. FS people lack the respect they deserve. Sure a BP could use their master buffs, but a FS will make sure you don’t forget that they buffed you for a while. Hurray for 20 Minute Haste (This RM had a interet+2 on amongst other things. It was scary cool.)
