Picking up the pieces-Prologue

I’m not sure if this title is in use yet, but I hope not. This is for a friend of mine who was hacked.

There is mentions of blood, but it won’t get messy unless I give the warning it will.

He was rich. He laughed at all the noobs who walked by him with just a sword. He always knew someday he would be the best, because he had the best stuff. He was the best magician ever. But today was not his day.

John walked down the road to Henesys, whistiling softly to himself. He began twirling the Kage staff in his left hand as he hit Pigs with it every so often. Soon he knew he was close as the swarm of noobs began to pile up. He smiled to himself as he stopped twirling his Kage. He got ready and unleased a barrage of lightning and ice attacks. The noobs couldn’t get a hit. They watched him with evil stares as he massicured the entire field. Suddenly a Green mushroom dropped a Panlid, and John watched the noobs swarm it.

He laughed and picked it up.

One of the noobs yelled at him with rage, but by then he was out of earshot. He made it to Henesys and came to a stop. A bunch of noobs were arguing about a certain girl, and John thought to himself, “Time to end this.”

He pulled of a black sack from his bag, and got ready to open the bag. He began dropping 10 amounts of mesos, and watched as the entire map swarmed him. “Perfect”, he thought, and he opened the bag. Immediatly he used magic guard and watched as the entire noob squard was killed by a Barlog. He laughed so hard that he thought his lungs would collapse. The noobs looked at him with evil intent, as they floated as ghost.

“John must be stopped”, a voice said. Ten figures stood in the dark alleys of Henesys.

“Agreed he shall pay for his over cofidence”, as the others nodded their heads.

“Once we finish him, he will collapes on himself”, as the others quietly laughed.

John walked to the market place, watching noobs happy about their new armor. He smiled to himself, knowing that was what he was like when he was a noob. He put his weapons and armor away so he would blend in, and watched as people gawked at his popularity. “Today seems like a busy day”, he thought. A young girl walked by John, and he turned to watch her body move up and down. He was so busy looking at her, he didn’t see ten people sneak up behind him.

John’s memory became hazy, but he felt a slashing blow to his back, and blood wash over his back. The next thing he knew, blows rained down upon his unequipped body. “SHOWOFF”, he heard one of them yell. They grabbed his sack of items, with John’s prized possesion, his Maple Lama. That Maple Lama staff was given to him by his good friend, a girl named Lillian. He wouldn’t let that go. He grabbed the Lama staff, and pulled on it hard. “Let go”, one of the men growled as he tugged on the staff, but John wouldn’t let go. “Leave it, it won’t help him if he’s dead”, the leader barked. The leader pulled out John’s first sword, and stabbed it into John’s stomache.

John only felt a second of blinding pain, and then a wave of relief as he fell into uncounsiousness.

The ten fled quickly as noobs began to surround him. Blood was pouring out of his body, as a cleric appeared from the crowd and said, “John…”

“John…” he heard from far far away.

The cleric began to try and heal him, but she didn’t know if he would make it. “Someone please carry him”, she said, but the noobs were unmovable. “HE ALWAYS MADE FUN OF US”, one yelled, as noob nodded their head. “Please help him”, as tears began to roll down her cheeks.

“We’ll help”, as two noobs stood out of the crowd and picked him up. “Stop it”, the noob yelled again. One after another, people began picking him up until there was no more room.

“Where’s the nearest open hospital?”, a noob said as he watched the scene.

The girl cleric stared at John’s bleeding body and said one thing, “Perion…”

Next Chapter: The race to save John, and noobs begin the man hunt for the ten attackers.
