Have I done the right thing?

Most people really hate it when a newcomer enters their map and KSes them. Usually, when that happens, you’d say ask the person to leave the map or change channels. When the newcomer refuses, one might threaten to defame or start a KS war. I don’t know if bIoghead did either or both of those actions since I wasn’t in the same map as her. But what is visible is that she used a super megaphone to complain about the KSer.

The first three messages seem normal enough. I regularly see crap like that in Cassiopeia and have no problems in ignoring them. But it was the last two messages that got to me. In my mind, I thought it was harrassment and I felt sorry for pinkclover9 even despite the fact that she was the one who started the KSing. Truly, it didn’t warrant such a harsh attack as shaming her in front of the entire server!

So I send pinkclover9 a whisper, stating how I felt. She asked me to take screenshots of this incident and post them up, which is what I’m doing right now. She said that she was terrified. After a bit, she stopped replying to my messages, probably because she was dealing with the argument that was happening in her map.

About an hour later, I took the second screenshot. Still no reply from pinkclover9 so there’s no telling how they settled this. Hopefully, it worked out well.

But do you think I’ve done the right thing by attempting to help pinkclover9? Also, is there anything in the game that would anger you to the extent of bashing someone through megaphone?

  1. People are jerks. I think anything you can do to help them is the right thing. You did well, and it’s especially rude to bash people for not having NX. Some of us just can’t spend money on the game.

  4. U did the right thing, she should not KS but that other guy is a jerk, he has no right to do such things.

  5. Ok, it’s both of thier fault. When you get hit by someone, you shouldn’t the person back. As in, never get into fights, cos, even it’s not your fault in the first place, it will be soon~

  7. No you didn’t do anything wrong, as much as we want people in Maple to all get along and actually share maps, people don’t. Usually when I’m training in a map and someone shows up, they instantly change channel or KS to get me to leave, usually KSing is their solution. Nobody deserves that kind of abuse, you did the right thing helping pinkclover9. There are good people in Maple, and unfortunatley so are bad people.

  9. yea cass players are quite snobbish i agree but blog head shouldn’t insult or tell anyone off just for the sake of training anyway you did the right thing.

    Actually, I was helping the KSer, not going against her.
