I woke up the next morning feeling rejuvenated. I walked out the door and saw Kogek and Iggy standing there.

“So who’s this ‘friend’ of yours that you have in Ludibrium?” I asked, slightly curious.

“More of a brother than a friend”, Kogek replied.

After we paid our bills, we set out.

“Follow me guys, this way”, Kogek said as he took lead.

He took us to a house in the Ludibrium Village. This house was much larger than the others. Kogek knocked on the door and a young Spearman, about 10 years old, appeared.

“Hey brother!” They both exclaimed in unison.

“Good to see you too, Nor. These are my friends Andy and Iggy.”

“Pleased to meet you. My name is Noryokou, Nor for short, come in and rest.”

We all gladly accepted his offer and talked for a long while. Iggy made so many jokes that we all nearly laughed our heads off. By the time we were leaving, it was noon. We walked a short while until a voice came up behind us.

“Hey guys! Wait up I’m coming!” Nor said.

He caught up with us and we were glad to have him. We all decided that we wanted to explore Ludibrium a bit longer before going. We were all going to meet at the station in an hour. Iggy went to the marketplace, Nor and Kogek went to the EOS Tower, to explore. I decided to explore the Helios Tower on the opposite end of town. Inside, there were tons of rat-like wind up toys. It looked too boring so I went to the station to take a nap on the bench.

I woke up with a start and looked at the time. I had slept for 55 minutes. Just that exact moment, I felt a powerful presence approaching me. I drew my Doombringer and blocked the the throwing star millimeters from my chest in a flash. I looked up to face my opponent.

“Heh, lucky dodge but you won’t be as lucky as you were before!” he said and threw a barrage of stars at me.

“That’s not all!” I exclaimed and bursted towards him with lightning speed, he was caught off guard, but recovered in an instant.

I slashed at him and sliced off part of his Pirate Suit. Then he did the unexpected, bursting towards me with speed similar to my own. I flashed away, with him following me every second. I had never fought someone else with abilities comparable to my own, so I didn’t know what to expect. I decided to keep observing his tactics. I was able to keep up with him until now. He knew that his regular speed wasn’t enough to defeat me, so he went into hyper speed. He ran twice as fast, but drained twice the energy. He caught up to me, that instant when he was just about to give me a blow of death, a Steely got in his way. Kogek stood at the entrance of the port.

“Stay away from him!”

The Hermit backed away and used his hyper speed to escape again.

Darn that White Knight and his friends. If it weren’t for that stupid Hermit, then I would’ve been successful., the Hermit thought while running away, maybe I should go finish the job, even if I die.

“Andy, you all right?” Kogek asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine, it’s just his abilities that trouble me”, I replied.

“Abilities?”

“Yeah, he handled the power that I have like an expert, but I felt a bit of Bowman energy.”

“Bowman huh? That makes sense, since his shots were very accurate. It would’ve hit their mark if it wasn’t for your own abilities.”

“Yeah, that was a close one, wasn’t it?”

I took a rest and the other two came. We were all ready and we went aboard the Train to Orbis, which had been previously burned.

It wasn’t Panic that did it, then who? Who else is capable of something like this?!, I pondered in my own thoughts.

I went to sleep, but I felt very uncomfortable.

Who knows what’s to come?, I wondered.
