I know this is sudden, you may ask me why I didn’t post this first anyway. Don’t ask. This is the first character profile set for my series Tales of a Lost Phoneme. It includes the profiles for Kunai, Ryuu, Arai, and Ivy. A second (and possibly third set) will be released later on when new characters pop up and/or new information is revealed about certain already mentioned characters. *hinthintcoughcoughayamecoughcoughhinthint*

Kunai
Class: Hermit/Chief Bandit Hybrid

Bio:
Kunai was born into a prestigious clan on Victoria Island, known for producing some of the most powerful adventurers on Victoria Island. A lot was expected of him shortly after birth.
However, his father, one of the fourteen Joukai members in his family, died in a terrible raid by the Myougun when Kunai was just two. Kunai’s mother died not long afterwards of grief as well, and extra precautions were taken by his family to ensure his safety and the safety of the rest of his family.
Ryuu, the prodigy from Perion then just only six years old, took Kunai and raised him as his apprentice, teaching him all he knew and raising Kunai like his own son.
After the tragic loss of the rest of his family, Kunai has gone on a journey to seek revenge on the Myougun, and find his place in the world. Often aloof, yet possessing a cheerful and friendly nature, Kunai now seeks redemption for not being able to protect his family.
Ryuu

At the age of four, Ryuu was deemed a prodigy by Dances with Balrog of Perion. By age six, Ryuu became the youngest person to become a Hybrid, and was deemed a genius. A year later, Ryuu became admitted into the elite organization known as the Joukai.
Ryuu has taken care of Kunai as a combination of father and older brother since he was six, and the result is a close relationship with the assassin. While Ryuu spent much time training Kunai, he also spent much time abroad, working with the Joukai.
Ryuu spent just as much time with his longtime childhood friend Ayame after he joined the Joukai. The two were inseparable and they were deemed most likely to become husband and wife. However, as Ryuu and Ayame grew up, so did they grow apart from each other. After a tragic event, Ayame was taken out of Ryuu’s life.
Sarcastic, tough, and strong-willed, Ryuu leads Kunai on their quest to defeat the Triplicates guarding the entrance to the Rift World, hoping that he himself may find answers that he seeks.
Arai
Class: Ice/Lit Mage

The grandson of Grendel the Really Old of Ellinia, much was expected of the young magician Arai. He did not disappoint. At age ten, he quickly proved himself worthy of the title Joukai, and was initiated into the program. Ever since, he has run around the world performing tasks for the Joukai.
Usually sporting a cheerful nature and an addictive love for cookies, Arai seems hardly to ever possess an ounce of seriousness in him. However, he has a past steeped in bloodshed that haunts him. Arai usually prefers to stay in the background and work things through, rather than staying on the front lines and fighting the entire battle.
Ivy

Bio:
Having no past, it seems Ivy just fell out of the sky (which she did) into the world. After being scarred by the Cursed Sanctuary Triplicate, Ivy seems to have no recollection of her past or where she came from, causing her origins to be a bit of a concern among the other three in the party.
Ivy has a hard to resist, cheerful nature, which makes her an instant friend of everyone’s. Though her clerical skills are extremely powerful, Ivy frequently refrains from using them, believing the best in everyone and not wanting to be involved in any fights.
