I wouldn’t say that, I’d say it shows girls as being more forward and taking the offense (as opposed to defense). Most guys, I must say, like those girls who make the first move -_- It’s an opposite thing. These quiet dudes who write stories instead of finding themself a girlfriend write about that adventurous gal who make their dreams come true >D Lol god I can’t believe I just wrote that.
Anyway, if you don’t like it, don’t read it. I don’t read it. It’s a bunch of the worst fluff written, and I *like* fluff.

Anyway, contrary to popular belief, its the guy who usually is the first to fall in love at a such an age. And to all guys: if your best friend is a girl, then your just plain screwed if you fall in love with her xP.
And to all you girls with male best friends, suspect them to be love-struck.
However, this is not true all the time xD. . . just most >.<
Personally, I don’t really like reading the typical love story and garbage like “will you be my girlfriend”.
Anyway the following is just something to think about:
Your best friend is of the opposite gender, you fall in love with him/her, he/she then gets a boy/girlfriend 1-2 years after you meet. Well, if that happens, how can you ever let go? Ditch your best friend to protect yourself from the pain of the truth? Or, remain friends? And what if that friend hangs out with all your other friends? Wouldn’t leaving that person then destroy the whole friend circle?
Wouldn’t it just plain suck if you end up in that situation? Cuz its sucking for meh
