Guild Quest, Party Quest and Jump Quest

Okay, this is an account spread over several weeks. I’ll try to be as accurate as I can so bear with me. I won’t talk too long on the GPQ because my friend Nez has already talked about most of it.

[h]Guild Quest[/h]
Logging in to the chat box full or purple. The Guild seemed pretty active and I was glad to know. Right now I was in Sleepywood, same place I logged off after thelastcor helped me with a quest. I was thinking on what I should do when I realised that the guild was talking to me. They were asking me to participate in the Guild Party Quest – located near Perion. Quicky I checked my inventory, scrolls, scrolls, scrolls.. come on, return scroll to Perion.

No dice.

And so I began my antagonizing walk towards the excavation site . Luckily I was not the only person rushing to get there. Fushi was also attempting to get there. I met the energetic ranger as I changed channel and entered excavation site I. So we started.
As Nez stated, he and thelastcor, in all his metro hair gloriness, finished the gatekeeper test in record time. As they zoomed through the other tasks, me and Fushi got lost several times o_O. They have the level 200 monsters, those grey stone guys. Even thelastcor had trouble hitting them so he dark sighted to get a lance.
Then came a part where we all had to do something. Nez directed me to the easiest one, filled with fifty evil bubblings/slimes. O_O
…ten to twenty orange and blue potions later…
I passed the segment and begame a JQ.
FF–>–>

Now we were at the door to the boss. Of course there was a catch. Someonehad to be the sacrifice to open the door. Guess who that was ^^. I’m happy to do my part for the guild. Anyway, I only lost one percent. (Those evil bubblings give 180exp compared to the normal 170).

[h]Party Quest – Kerning City[/h]
This happened the same day as the GPQ. I was waiting for my friends to log on so I began channel surfing, went into at least three different parties before my friend logged on. After another thirty minutes, we finally got in. Sped right through it. I only got a bunch of ores. Oh well, it was a good experience anyway.

[h]Jump Quest – Sabatrima and the Wierd Diet Medicine[/h]
I think that’s the quest name. Anyway, I didn’t know it was a jump quest until I entered it through Shane’s house. So for all you people who haven’t done the quest: Watch out, it’s a jump quest
It was night and I had no idea how long this was going to take. Surely it was not the hardest JQ but it was still annoying me.
jump, jump, jump, jump-fall, jump, jump, jump-fall.
Just as I told my friends that I was giving up…
Yay! I did it. O_O Only the first stage. *Cursese Forest of Patience*
Next Day
Stage two! Seemed slightly easier. Though I hate those spears, especially the invisible ones >.>.
They’re really annoying. But I found a trick to them. Walk forward until you get hit once, the hit will send you to the uttermost edge of that platform. Then back-track for a few millimetres to gain the space to jump, then jump. Repeat until you get to the vines and lupins. The first vine was easy but the second one was a killer. I was getting pretty fed up so I decided to cut a few corners. On the top of the second vine, jump as far as you can to the third. You will land on one of the lupin platforms – quickly jump onto the third vine and secure a safe place.
You should be under the last three lupin platforms so you have to calculate it quicky. Go up all at once where you get hit by a right banana, this sends to you the second lupin platform. Then with your temporary invincibility, get back on the vine and volia!
^^ And for those hours of work, I was rewarded with a 10% scroll for Overall Def.

[h]Closing Notes[/h]
Sorry for not posting so often. I’m have trouble accessing my computer account with the story so please bear with me for now. I’ll try to get them as soon as possible. When I get back on my main account, I’ll try and post some pictures to go with this.

PS: How do you underline? Did they change the function?

  1. You can’t underline. You can only bold and italicise. ^^
    AND I HATEHATE Sabitrama’s JQs. He and Shane are in a conspiracy to CON MESOS. It took me a week for each of Sabby’s JQs, okay. -_-;

  2. Did you seriously spend a night doing Sabitrama. O.O

Do something more constructive, like playing Simpsons Hit & Run.

I just got back from playing the PS2. O.o

And my mum says she’s gonna buy me a PS2 game for the first time in 3 years (I’ve had the console for 4 years).

Being a big Kingdom Hearts fan, guess what I’m gonna buy?

    Tekken 5!

Alright, actually I might buy Kingdom Hearts II.

  3. JQ are teh pwnage. Lol

I used that vine tactic too! I’m lazy. ;D

Oh. And btw, it’s not invisible spears, it’s actually this small sharp thing protruding from the ground, if that’s what you meant.

  4. @Nez: Really? I thought it was the background. >.> They could have made it a tad more obvious. There’s a place after that on the platform which hits you constantly for ‘ones’, like every half a second.

    [Edit] o_O 3999 blog reads ^^

@Silver: Okay, I wonder why no underline function.

  5. Jump Quests frustrate me. I usually make my brother do them. ;O

I used to train at the B3 Construction Site (Shumi’s level 40 JQ) so I got pretty good. Unfortunately, it’s not like riding a bike. After I stopped going there, my skills seemed to have disappeared. </3

[ Edit: *Points at tags and laughs* Annoying, Ellinia. ^__^ ]
