I think I’m going to stop being so nice

A few months ago, when I started playing, I had the misfortune of taking the VIP cab to Sleepywood, trapping my level 9 character. Lucky for me, a nice level 30 guy helped me get out and when I hit level 25, I started hanging out in Sleepywood to help out the stranded new players the way that guy helped me. And all was fine for a while. I would kill monsters so they could get through and, in times when the spawn was too bad, give out scrolls. But then I noticed that there are people down there who are really out to take advantage of people who do what I do. They go so far as to take off their armor and pose as low levels to try to get free stuff. Of course, I always check, but then there are the ones that create new characters and send them down as mules for free stuff and mesos. And when you give them something, they mock you for it. I’m fed up with it. So, sorry new players trapped in Sleepywood. This is one hunter who won’t be helping out any more.

  1. lol. OH NO. NOT 1k for an inflated return scroll! my life. . .i feel it fading.
as for the time you wasted, you were there in the first place. just play the game and stop whinning.

  2. Don’t listen to alterofgod, he’s obviously got issues. Anyway, just be sure to talk to the people for a while before giving them anything. Usually the bad ones won’t take the time to chat.

  3. Nope Ben, I play in Bera and Khani Thanks Pica, you’re right, I should just chat with people for awhile first. It’s not the cost of the scrolls, Alter, it’s the principle of the matter. There are new players who could really use those scrolls. (And I like whining 😛 It makes me feel better and maybe I can get the chance to connect with others who are frustrated by the same issue). But anyway, I think from now on, I’ll just do the clearing a path thing and forget about the scrolls.
