‘ZAKUM SQUAD SYSTEM- A TOTAL SHAME’
Good times don’t last, or so thousands of Zakum-goers feel. As far as many are concerned, their Zakum days are over.
For the few hundred people new to the whole Zakum thing every year, their chances of getting in are 0%, probably less than zero.
Why? They told us why: Super high leveled men and women have taken advantage and set up a business: The Zakum Service; an illegal operation that rakes in hundreds of billions of mesos a year, according to surveys conducted by several parties.
Fighting the Allmighty Zakum race has been a sport tradition for thousands of years, one the dying fairies left to us; and the teams of Yetis and Lycanthropes constantly going in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Up until a few months ago, when super high levelled people first began to appear, the Zakum arena was a first come-first served kind of deal.
Now, the ‘Elite,’ as they are called have taken over, and have organized. They set up at every entrance to the arena, and guard the gates, while their buddies form teams of high level men and women (11X min) and go in.
Everybody presumably Level 105 and lower is referred to a ‘low level’ and denied access…unless they fork over 100 million mesos, double the price if you lower than 105. Even after you have paid, the squad leader will still expell you without a second’s hesitation if he or she can replace you with someone of a higher level.
‘Who the hell are these GMAs?” is constantly asked by disgruntled pissed off 9X people.
GMs?
Unfortunately yes. They are GMs. or GMA’s. Same thing apparently. KCP inspector Dennis Cheng, stationed in Kerning City’s Bukit Hills district, visited the backside of Mt. Popapulous last month during his vacation. Despite he was on his vacation time, Inspector Cheng went undercover to the eastern Dead Mines and conducted several surveys of the disgruntled crowds. During his 3-week stay at the Zakum Arena, Cheng confirmed the GMA’s are federally licensed SEA Land GMs, all graduates from the Law Enforcement Academy at Johoor Town.
It turns out that these lazy, corrupt GMA’s don’t lift an ass-cheek to do anything about this illegal and descriminatory operation here. People are constantly calling and mailing letters, but never once do they recieve a reply.
One mapler, a level 92 sindit told MapleSAP’s journalist Jim Fartes, “”Thank you for the input. Please note that we’ll send this to the respective GMs for further inspection. It makes more sense if you could inform the local GMA during the incident in order to catch the suspects red-handed.””
The sindit said she was infuriated by such a response because she made several attempts to contact the local GMA’s, and they simply ignored her or had their messengers shut off. As far as everyone sees; all these lazy cops do is sit around, picking their nuts while the Elite break the laws in their faces.
The humans are not alone. Every Yeti and Lycanthrope who comes down to the gates to enter is turned away outright. read more

MapleSAP Special: Justice Arrow
Part 8: Magician Traffiking

[ The rangers and Bow Masters of the Justice Arrow ran through the streets and back alleys and paths of Ellinia, chasing down and capturing several children and magicians they suspect of being contaminated with hackium. The bowmen entered Ellinia in the morning and kept a low profile until school let out at around 4 today. They then ambushed and took several children, including magicians and tossed them into their trucks and drove off, without any significant explanation– Maple Mages’ Free Press] read more

Justice Arrow part 7: Interview with the Man who Lost his Kids

As the next few weeks pass, the weather turns from cool autumn to a bitter cold winter. It’s November, and already temperatures fall below zero at night. Frost coats the ground every morning. It’s only a matter of time before snowfall season begins. At this time, the field workers work frantically to harvest the reamianing crops. The fields growing cranberries are the last to be emptied, and everyday produces several truck loads of fresh cranberries in. In some areas, noob slaves are forced to pant seeds, but most of the time, the ground is already frozen. As winter season kicks in, most of the animals in the forest are retreating to their hibernation places, leaving the forests bare and quiet. Most of the birds have already flown south, to roost on the hot southern coast of Victoria or on Florina Island. In the winter, the heat from the air currents is blocked by the Henesys Mountains and collects on the south coast, maintaining warm temperatures all year. In the winter, much of the territory is bombarded with cold wind currents that dip down during the winter months. read more

MapleSAP Special: Justice Arrow
Part 6

MapleSAP’s other team send by our boss arrives in Orbis and goes to the National Archives to get some history info on the Justice Arrow. The NA building holds hundreds of thousands of records ranging from archaeology projects to news reports; dating from 6000 years ago til the present. The facility contains well over 4000 years of information about Victoria. Thes records are mostly translated articles from ancient tabs kept by the Fairies. They were translated almost 200 years ago by the last few remaining Fairies for the Korean colonists who took over the ancient city.
The history is as follows:
The Sharenians descended from an inferior breed of fairies who lost the ability to fly. Around 4000 years ago, they were banished to Victoria’s northern wastelands; the Corazon region and Perion Domain. While the fairies expected the Sharenians to die out, they thrived in the hostile Corazon-Perion region, carved Perion out of the rocks and established a mining industry by 2000 BC. Eventually, the fairies were forced to leave them be and instead established trade with the Sharenians to recover their own faltering economies. By now, the Balrogs waged a relentles century long war against victoria, wiping almost all of them out while the ground-base sharenians effectively fought them off.
By Year Zero, the fairies were dying out due to the planet’s magnetic shifting, and the last remaining populations lived in Orbis and Ellinia. Over the next 2000 years, they waged separate wars against the Balrogs and Sharenians. All three populations suffered bloody losses. In Century 15, Victoria remained uninhabited except for Perion Domain and Ellinia. read more

MapleSAP wishes all its readers a happy and safe Haloween!

PUMPKIN PALOOZA IS MACK, WITH MEMORIAL SERVICE
|Kerning City|
This year’s Pumpkin Palooza festival, which goes from Haloween until Thanksgiving, will begin on a rather somber note this year. The Pumpkin Co. which runs the festival announced on Monday that the first day will be to remember the many people; most of them Permanoob civillians, who fell victim to attacks committed by supporters of the Justice Arrow organization. Every year, the Pumpkin Palooza is plagued by incidents of violence against the many harmless hackers, youth, and children; many of whom are from Kerning’s Azn districts.
At the 2005 Pumpkin Palooza festival, groups of heavilly armed J.A. members and supporters charged into the festival grounds and opened fire; killing up to 23 people, and injuring many more before the PumpkinSquad guild responded.
Five of the attackers were caught and arrested by police.
Among the victims were famous Permanoob celebrities Osuwarii, KawaiiBerry, and MadButter’s sidekick Devieu.
The GM ordered the festival to be ended on Haloween night following the violence. read more

MapleSAP Special: Justice Arrow 5:
Religion + History

It is Sunday morning in Henesys. The sun has risen above the Henesys Mountains, and is shining bright.
Today, most of the town is quiet. There are no workers except for slaves in the fields.
In town, the residents are gathering for worship at the Great Church of Jalonska in the center square.
Many of the men, women and children are dressed formally.
The church is a large structure built of wood, and can hold up to 900 people. Those who don’t attend this church
will gather at various spots around town.
Photos and video crystals are used by J.A. troops to record the session.
The atmosphere inside is rather tense and oppressive for the youngsters, including my team. All children are expected to behave as best as they can or face painful discipline. Here, corporal punishment is not condemned. One child leans to side on the bench accross from me and his father grabs him by the neck and takes him outside.
The adults talk quietly with eachother. Some of the servants and slaves present are ordered to sit in the back, faces down and to be praying for the entire two hour session. read more

Northern Markets Notice

Chapter 59 is pretty much the end of it, but I might put one more down to wrap it up.
I give thanks and appreciation to everybody who read and liked NM
When I started out, I was inspired by some gruesome videos on Youtube of animal treatment
in Korea, China, and other places. The things I saw were extremely brutal, and the comments left by
past viewers shows they were quite upset by what they saw. I was also unsettled by what I saw.
Im not going to describe them to you, just look it up on Youtube, like ‘korean dog market’ or ‘cats in china’ or something like that. At these markets, they are pretty much food stock, and the workers look on them the same ways
as people in the West view pigs, and cows, only with less sadism in mind.
After I saw that stuff, I thought up a story of magic markets where magicians were killed and used for their
magic energy, with the diabolical crap i saw on Youtube. Thats how i came up with the name ‘northern markets’ read more

MapleSAP Special: Justice Arrow (4)

MapleSAP Special:
Justice Arrow part 4: Work Day

The next morning, our lew life in Henesys begins. Before dawn we are roused from our sleep and
taken out to the fields and put to work extracting pumpkins in the eastern fields. Two large fields are used to grow massive pumpkins, watermelons, beets, zuchinnis, amongst a wide variety of food crops.
Nearly 40 fields are used to grow crops and raise livestock in Henesys. Much of which wil be either stored
for the winter or exported to Justice Arrow-friendly clients around the country.
We work long hours each day extracting giant massive pumpkins and loading them onto wagons and trucks. for this task, we were spit up and assigned each to groups called crop squads. It is their responsibility to maintain the crops from planting to harvesting; and to maintain the fields year round.
We work from 6 in the morning until 9 at night hauling crops. The labor is a strain on our bodies and the day’s work leaves us completely drained.
As for the crops, they are taken to processing facilities to be cleaned, inspected and divided up to be used,
stored, or for export. Fruits that fail inspection are destroyed and made into fertilizer for next year. read more

Northern Markets Ep58

NORTHERN MARKETS
Episode 58+ Final Battle, FIGHT!

The two of them stood on the frigid ground, staring at eachother.
Burning rage and hatred filled their bodies as they stared eachother down.
It was the classic fight. Hacker vs. Pureblood. Both sides hated eachother with a flaming passion.

Bob stood about 70 feet away from where Chinko and the hacker woman stood, cowering behind a rock.
High above them, the 200 strong Justice Arrow guys circled and hovered on their flying boards in the pale
blue pre-dawn sky. read more
