Right. So, about a week ago, I decided to finally finish that ReVersal quest.
60 temporal fragments. A map full of Tick-Tocks. Two hours of double drop–which I missed all but the last 10 minutes of. -facepalm-
I end up having to get the last 40 temporal fragments or so during normal drop, which takes FOREVER. read more

So in HPQ, when the stirges, flyeyes, and blins (which I will collectively abbreviate as stirgeyes) come out to attack the moon bunny, a normal PQ will want to kill the monsters before they reach the bunny. So last weekend I finally got off my lazy butt (actually no, I was still on it) and decided to start working on a second installment of Skill Haiku (which I will get to someday, after finals). But once I started, something else captivated me.

You know the bowmaster skill Sharp Eyes? The party critical that turns night lords into star-throwing six-red-number deities? For those who don’t know, it used to be called Critical Hope when 4th job was in testing. I was sad when they changed the name. IMO, Critical Hope is just so much more poetic. read more

Okay so… this blog is going to be short. Just a heads-up. I would’ve waited to post Saturday’s blog so I could lump this in with it, but I didn’t expect to level so soon. (Hooray for 2x.)

So, after a few hours of this I’ve gotten my strless hunter to level 35.
That means three things. Soul Arrow, fast attack speed, and double my previous damage.

I do wish they gave us the 2x ‘compensation’ next week, not this week. I can’t imagine how many Maplers were pressured to train instead of enjoy their Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m one. I took full advantage of the 2x (well no – there’s been 36 hours so far and I’ve used maybe 10) and leveled my main from 55 to 57, and my strless from 32 to 34-and-80% (waiting for tomorrow’s 2x to finish it off and… WEAR MY MAPLE BOW! Well, the thing’s fugly, but it’ll double my damage range. And at this point, when I get outdamaged by the weakest of level 25’s, that means a lot). read more
