Today went as usual. Just kept grinding at boars. God, it’s boring. And way too many people. I had an empty channel, and in five minutes, six people showed up and started ksing me. Punks.
Then, when I wasn’t really paying attention, that beautiful little flash went up around my character. Level up to 33.
I tell ya, I was surprised in a good way. I did stats and skills, and cheered outside of my computer. A step closer to being a Hermit/stronger Sin!
I bring up this question because I just thought of something.
As usual, I spend a small portion of my day just going through here and reading blogs. Some good, some bad, some rants, some storys, just whatever I click on. It was when I read yet ANOTHER rant about hackers that I stopped and thought about something.
See, I played Maple Story since Beta, played regularly on Scania, and have since switched to Windia. But my memories from way back when have come to the front with my latest thought:
I’ve discovered that I’ve reached a lull here on Maple Story.
Maybe it’s because I’m level 32, an in-between level, which seems harder to progress from.
Maybe it’s the fact that I am not as inspired playing alone as I am when I party with friends. Unfortunately, these friends are out of the country and will not be able to party with me for a while.
It suddenly dawned on me today. I have the whole summer to do things: Play games, hang out with friends, go on vacation, etc.
And I was bored.
Most of my friends left in a large group on vacation to Europe. They won’t return to the states until sometime next week. I am a slacker, so I don’t have a job to occupy my time. So I sat around my house.
