I was playing MapleStory and noticed an advertisement in-game about MesoRich.com. Shortly after, a GM announced that the user was banned. I thought to myself, IS MapleStory THAT affected by secondary markets like MesoRich.com? Being bored as I am, I did some research.

The reason why Nexon bans MesoRich.com ads and other vendor ads instead of players who actually deserve it (ie those who use unfair tools) is because these websites detract from their consumers. Nexon wants to SELL their Nexon points and does not want to face any competition or detraction of sales from companies like MesoRich.com.
Q: So then, why hasn’t Nexon just banned permanently all the advertisers (lets say via IP block)?
A: Nexon GAINS money from MesoRich.com and other adverts. In order for a megaphone message to appear, companies like MesoRich.com pay $5.00 minimum to spread their slogan and testimonials. If banned temporarily, Nexon KNOWS they will buy more and more Nexon Cash and as a result increase their earnings. Throw rocks at me, boo me, or congratulate me: I’ve purchased Mesos. Many skepticism, many uncertaintity in this market but I took the risk and here are my reviews:

MesoRich.com : Ah yes, the infamous Mesorich. The non-stop advertising Meso providing giant we’ve all heard about but too hesitant to try. I bought 3 million Mesos, awaited anxiously, and within around 7 minutes of biting my nails BEHOLD WAS A WHISPER from a MesoRich agent. “Your Mesos are ready”. Wow. We met in CH20 FM room 5 and I was given 3 MILLION MESOS PLUS TAX. Call me a sucker, but I’ve found my new shop. They work and they work well. Naturally, I asked them how they got all their Mesos and they informed that they buy it from players who quit the game etc. I didn’t want to badger the guy so I let him off to make other deliveries while I stood with 3,000,000 more Mesos than I had 1 day ago!
