[GComic] Divine Shield
A comic based on a random (and probably lame) idea I thought of, using Maple and WoW elements.
General overview to people who haven’t played WoW before- Divine Shield is an instant-cast, 5min cooldown ability that grants absolute invulnerability for 12 seconds. In addition to the global cooldown of all spells, 1.5 seconds, a popular escape tactic for Paladins is to “bubble-hearth” using DS and then a hearthstone, which has a cast time of 10 seconds. (think Nearest Town Scroll) A skilled paladin will be able to escape with around 0.2s of DS remaining. Alternatively, you can attack or cast other spells while inside a bubble.

This comic is the MapleStory adaptation of the first part of a (currently) 3-part comic which I attempted to draw IRL. Unfortunately, I lack a scanner/functioning digi cam, but fortunately the physical comic didn’t cause me to be convicted of homicide for once
Edit: Uhh, the skirt that Jim is wearing is only a minor wardrobe malfunction. It’ll be fixed next issue, I promise
