Drifting Dimensions -pt7

Yeah sorry for the delay, you know me, busy busy lazy lazy. You guys know the drill. This chapter is a love-it/hate-it situation, depending on your views of the game I’m introducing a crossover for, my other favorite online game… more about that later. So, without any further ado, chapter seven.

Riella wiped at her eyes again, and picked up Blast’s wizard wand, that wasn’t good, it hadn’t made it into the portal with him, and he would no doubt be missing it. His rucksack was there too, could he even survive without any items or magic? Magicians never were the roughin’ it types. Slipping the wand and her communicator back in a pocket, under plates of armor, Riella bottled up her woes to stand and turn to face the soft footsteps on the plastic behind her, who she saw was far from anybody she would’ve guessed. The bandit stopped walking a good ten paces away from her, to return his dagger to a large sheath at his waist and regard her carefully. She didn’t give him any longer than that.
“Shard!” she roared, rushing in, “your guild is responsible for this!” she growled, slashing out at him with her Traus. The bandit had his dagger out again in a flash, blocking her blow with the hilt of the blade, and stepping back out of reach.
“Hang on, I-” he tried to begin, but she lunged at him again.
“You’ll pay for my friends and your crimes!” she raged, slashing and thrusting forward as he dodged back, to the side, again and again, but to no avail, he was too fast.
“Can I get a word in here, I just-” Riella had jumped back to grab a weapon of greater range, and Shard stepped back as she hefted the Red Sign for a swing.
“Hey, hang on! Put me down!” it protested, as she swung it off her shoulder with force, the bandit ducking, then jumping, then darksighting to avoid beheadment. Appearing beside her to wrench the unhappy sign from her hands, and slam it down upright beside him, he raised his dagger again to hold her sword back from his face. read more

Drifting Dimensions -Pt6

Yeah. Finally going to write part six. Go me. ^-^;; Sorry it’s so late, got delayed legitimately for two days, and then my computer crashed and burned, and that’s why it got delayed two MORE days really sorry. This one is a doozy, so I’m going to try and keep it to a reasonable length. But it will, and I mean WILL be VERY long. If you can’t handle the whole thing in one shot, take a break and come back later, but please make an effort to read the whole thing. Bear with me here… Summary thus far: CrossSlash having finished his business with King Slime leaves Blast and Riella to go defeat the incrementally tougher Alishar, and of course you can expect the XDarkStriders to make trouble as well. read more

Drifting Dimensions -Pt5

Hey all, part five it is.. The plot is going places now, so let’s get ready to rumble! To recap; CrossSlash is heading back to Kerning City, and Blast is with Riella, heading to Ludibrium. They’re hoping to cut the XDarkStriders off at the pass, and prevent the fiends from freeing the three legendary beasts; King Slime, Alishar, and Zakum. We’ll join Cross now. read more

Drifting Dimensions -Pt4

Part four, yes indeedley. Here I’ll you’ll see another spiffy fight scene (needless to say), and I’ll be developing the actual storyline a bit. >>;; If you’re still with me here, you’ll start to see where I’m going with all this.

His back pressed against Cross and Riella, whom were doing likewise, BlastMage glanced quickly over his circling opponents. A bandit, in green and carrying a short blade, decidedly pointy. Two assassins, no doubt twins judging by their faces, and both in black despite the beating sun. A bowman, and not a particularly strong one, if that bow ranked him truly, he’d gotten Blast into this mess –stupid kumbis. And finally, two mages, one of which was a healer like himself, and she would thus probably cause the most problems for him. read more

Alrighty all, I’m back for round three… you’ve all seen by now the first few characters about which my storyline revolves, but you’ve yet to meet the “bad guys”. I’ll be introducing more of them this chapter, and make it clearer… what exactly this is winding up for.

With a snort of laughter, Cross darted out of the badly stirred and angry night club, pursued by shouted instructions and the hammering of feet. He became ethereal once again as a mob poured out of the Fusion Bar Jazz and made off in different directions up and down the street. –Looking for him. He figured that after the ruckus he’d caused inside, the XDarkStriders would be on his tail awhile, he’d just have to lay low until things settled down. A beast as big as that guild was capable of deeds to any extent of viciosity, but he was just as sure that it had the same short attention span as the hulking creatures it so easily attuned to. Turning down an alley as the shadows refused to tolerate his intervention any longer, he slipped out of sight again behind the buildings as he became visible and properly substantial again. Scrambling up a fire escape, and hopping across to an open window three stories up, CrossSlash rolled and came to an easy stop before the nightstand in his own room. read more

Drifting Dimensions -Pt2

Okay… I HAVE RETURNED! Did you miss me? No? *shrugs* Here’s my shot at part two, a few more significant characters show up, and some of the characters begin to develop in terms of one another. This one won’t be terribly fast either, though it’ll have action scenes for you. Expect things to heat up around chapters 4-6, so don’t leave me! I’m winding up for *hopefully* a good series. xD Comments would be nice. Likes are okay too, but they don’t mean anything to me unless I get frontpaged, because then I’d have more readers and that would be woot. read more

[Note: Screenshot is a funny little background I made ages ago, it’s unrelated.. I’ve been meaning to submit it though. The sprite in the corner is one I made of myself. I actually wear that cape in real life –at least in cold weather. xDD]
Hey all, my first fanfic… I know, I know… omgtehwhathax MMOTales is for blogging! Well I’m going to clog it up with another storyline just like everybody else? Okay? Lol. I’m hoping to at least match Indecscane (the best writer on MMOTales in my opinion) for quality, but that’d really be like comparing apples to oranges. His style of humor and writing is a world apart from mine.. and he’s a lot better with big words than me. >.<;; But I’ll try my best. Honestly, I can’t promise I’ll continue the series, depends on the mood I’m in and the responses I get. :-p PLEASE COMMENT, IF YOU HATE IT, FLAME ME. AND TELL ME WHY. IF YOU LIKE IT, CLICK LIKE AND/OR COMMENT. I DON’T WRITE FOR LIKES AND COMMENTS, BUT I DO POST THEM FOR THE SAKE OF SHARING WITH OTHERS. LET ME KNOW YOU’RE OUT THERE PEOPLE!! BlastMule89: Enter the Mule

Haha, I just spent an hour and a half terrorizing Broa. ^0^ m/
I finally got around to deleting my old messed up character, and making a PermaNoob for my new character. I named him BlastMule89 (a spoof on my main; BlastMage89) and rolled the dice for an hour only to end up settling on a 4/5. (I’m insanely unlucky…)

I put mongus amounts of AP into STR right off the bat, and later got some DEX, the point was I owned everybody on Maple Island. All the noobs were going O.o at my 1337 nooby damage. xD read more
