Hey everyone, its been awhile. . . Anyways, Nameless Consequence will continue, but after this chapter, I’ll be needing some inspiration. Post away after reading! =)

Synopsis:
Last time, Tetsu had just met Rei and Teepo, two orphaned teenagers who mug others for a living. Tetsu decided to join the duo in their mugging “spree.” Just as they were mugging a man known as ‘Bunyan’ road, something unexpected happens. And so Tetsu’s story continues from there. . .

Current Location: Henesys

I suddenly sat up, and felt a strange constriction around my wrists and ankles; there, huge ropes tied them together, leaving me unable to use my hands or try to run. As I looked around, I noticed that only Teepo was with me. He was still unconscious, and as far as I could tell, he would stay the same way for some time. The door opened, and in came a mammoth of a man. His size was, from how I saw it, not just fat, but bare muscle. The floor quaked as he walked nearer.
“I see you have awakened, ya’ rascal!” He said, though it sounded more like a shout. Frightened, I couldn’t help but stutter when I asked, “W-w-who are y-y-you?” “They call me ‘Bunyan’ aroun’ these parts, an’ I feels that you and your lil’ friends have tried to assault me on the road.”
“Anyways,” Bunyan said, “I’ve sent your friend—-” “WHERE THE F***K ARE WE?!” Teepo screamed, and scared me pretty badly. “Why, you lil’ criminal, your in mah’ house, that’s where!” Bunyan said, “But anyways, I’ve sent your friend Rei to the mountains…BUT! He’s already found a way to repay me for your guys’es….services. However, you two are to choose. Do you want to follow your friend Rei? Or do you want to stay here and chop wood ’till he comes back? I will await your answer after you’ve thought it over.”

Some hours later…
“That g**d**n Bunyan, sending Rei off to the mountains near our village!” Teepo fumed. We’d been trekking through the hills near Henesys, and we had not seen a soul in sight. “Teepo, you hear that rustling sound?” “Yeah Tetsu, its pretty clear. Arm yourself!” Just in time, I’d managed to dodge an attack from a hiding Ribbon Pig, and we easily finished it off. “Piece of cake, eh Tetsu?” “Yeah..”
For some hours, we walked uphill, or so it seemed, until Teepo and I had stumbled onto a desolate cabin. There was nothing of interest inside, however, it did hold three beds. “Hey Tetsu, you sleepy?” “Bleh, whatever, lets just sleep ’till morning. Then we’ll continue searching for Rei.” “Sounds good to me.” And so we camped out in the cabin.

“SCREECH”
I bolted upright, my heart pounding, and looked out the window: the sun was shining, and the sky looked like a perfect azure blue. Teepo was also staring outside, and asked me, “Tetsu, didja’ hear that screech a few minutes ago?” “Yeah,” I answered, “Wanna check outside?”
Without waiting for an answer, I slowly walked to the door, opened it, and broad sunlight streamed in, filling the cabin with a sweet morning scent–“SCREECH!” I quickly looked around, and saw Rei furiously battling a strange creature, one that some might call a ‘Chimera.’ “Teepo, hurry out; Rei needs our help!” I yelled into the cabin. He rushed outside, and we began to surround the Chimera-Monster. It began to stomp the ground, and three bolts of lightning hit us. I felt my energy drain, but when I looked up, Rei and Teepo looked fine. I hurridly drank some of my potions that I’d packed, and dashed in to attack….
We fought it for a long hour, but just when I was about to land the killing blow, the Chimera leaped into a cave on the east side of the summit. I strained to see it, but fatigue overcame my will, and I fell down into a deep, black void…

“Tetsu, you must decide your path, ‘else you will be wracked with indecision for the rest of your years…”
