The life of a female warrior Ch.1

Ok first story ever so don’t be too harsh..

Main character: 22Marie, lvl6x Fighter
Secondary characters: Redmagics(Paige), lvl 5x Cleric AND Satsuna(Emily), lvl 5x Assassin

I had always been a Fighter since Tespia and now, my journey as one was almost ending. After all those battles, feuds and annoying male warriors I would finally become a Crusader. I sighed and got out of bed. I was currently living in a small but cozy little cabin in El Nath. I put on my Red Ice Queen armor and picked up my Sparta with disgust. I hated that sword and soon I would be able to use the weapon of my desire, a Doombringer.

After I had done all my morning activities, I headed out into snow-covered fields to train. As soon as I left the security of the town though, my keen sense of hearing alerted me of another person behind me. At first I thought it was just another person out here to train, but soon I realized that this person was following me. I didn’t want to seem too suspicious so I lifted my Sparta and used it’s blade as a mirror. The person following me turned out to be a male warrior. He quickly hid behind a tree when I turned around to look at him but a group of Hectors made him come out of hiding.
“Who are you..and why are you following me?” I asked with an annoyed look. I still had some training to do before I could turn into a Crusader.
“My name is Hasha. I was just wondering what a weak little girl like you was doing with such a big sword out in the middle of nowhere” he replied with a smirk.
“Excuse me?WEAK?! Little girl!?”I stared at him with disbelief. I knew he would not act like this around male warriors my level. So why was he acting this rude to me? It was simply because I was a girl.
“That’s right. You’re WEAK! Girls aren’t supposed to be warriors, they’re too weak to do anything with a sword. Girls should just stick with magic or shootin arrows and let the men do the heavy work.” he replied with another smirk.
“Girls can be just as good as guys at anything and what makes you think that I can’t do anything with my Sparta?” I asked. I felt blood slowly rising to my face. I had met many rude people laughing, taunting and jeering at my choice of job but this guy was absolutley pushing it.
He ignored my remark and continued,”What a waste of a fine sword…”
Although I hated my Sparta, it didn’t give others a right to insult me. I had finally had enough. Without another word I raged myself and charged at him. Just as my sword was aout to hit him, a flurry of steelies hit my blade and knocked it out of my hands. I looked up and I saw one of my best friends, Emily look down on us from a cliff. She had on a silver identity and had some more steelies clutched in her hand.
“Don’t even bother wasting your energy and dirtying your sword on a little noob like him.” she said and her voice echoed around us.
Hasha had a terrified look on his face now and since he was outnumbered, he scrolled back to town. Emily jumped down to meet me and picked up my sword.
” Emily! Why did you do that? I was about to show him exactly how powerful girls can be with a sword” I yelled as I was still shaking with shock and rage.
“Calm down Marie. It’s not like you’ve never met an idiot like him before.”Emily calmly replied.
I shrugged. We lay down in the snow and stared at all the yetis and pangs running around above us. A silence fell between us as we relaxed and stared up into the sky.
“Emily, do you think I made the right choice to become a Fighter?”I said and broke the silence, ” I mean, look around. The warrior class is completely dominated by guys and most girls are mages, thieves or bowmen..”
Emily turned her head to look at me and replied, “What other people say doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you like your job. Just because the majority of girls chose to become mages doesn’t mean you have to and people who try to change you should just go to hell!”
I chuckled at her last statement. Yup, that’s Emily alright; always making me laugh and cheering me up. Suddenly there was a big ‘whoosh’ and a bright blue light as Cleric teleported right in front of us. It was our other friend, Paige. Paige re-adjusted her circlet which had almost toppled off her head when she teleported to us in such a hurry. She gave Emily and I a little smile and lay down next to us.
“I was bored” Paige said, “So I tracked you guys down and decided to join you.”
A little while later, when we were all rested up, we decided to go train on zombies. With Paige healing us, we soon had the whole map to ourselves. I slashed away at the zombies, Emily threw steelies at them and Paige healed and shot holy arrows at them. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw several arrows headed straight at Emily. She would’ve died had it not been for her quick reflexes. She quickly dodged the attack at the last second and threw some steelies in the direction the arrows had come from.

Author’s Note: That’s it for now.. I think I wrote too much..meh.

  1. Great story! And a great, dramatic ending (dum dum dum). Anyway, don’t think any story you write is too long beacuse it will limit your ideas and thoughts. It’s a great start, so keep writing!

  2. Are you a girl? becuz if that story is true, then plz tell me all those guys that hate female warriors, i would like to mass defame them, as soon as i get my maple working again.

  3. are the guys who said girls suck are accually on maple i would like to see them with my hermit and give them a beating to the noggin

  4. This is my first blog I’ve ever read and I’ve got to say it kept me interested. Keep on writing and i agree that females can kick as much butt as men. I’m a male saying this so yeah at least you know that not all males think this way.

  5. oooooo thats sad, =( you should’ve killed him with your sparta and jack his items and armours and give it to me. XD nah j/k keep it to your self lol

  6. You know, there’s a guild in Bera completely made up of female Warriors. Most of them are over level 50. The guild’s name is BeautynBrawn. I think their guild master is MeiLinge- one of the top 10 players in Bera.

  7. lol im like the opposite of you
im a 6x male cleric (male in RL too lol)
im nice too people unless there begging or whatever haha

    *coughiwannabeinthestorycough*
    =)

  8. Awesome story =D Fighters(especially sword fighters) own! And whoever thinks that girls shouldn’t become warriors are losers >=O I have many female warrior friends, some of them inspiring me!=) some girls probably don’t wanna become warriors because at first i have to admit, their armor is kinda ugly(same with males) but after 25+ the warrior armors become really cool! Well, hope you do more,

  9. Female warriors are cooler. I go gaga everytime I see a female high-lvled warrior in Maple run past with a gigantic weapon in their hands. (Think Omega spear.) And I’m a girl, for the record. XD

Problem is, I think a lot of those high lvled female warriors are played by guys irl,
