Ok so this is how it all went down. You guys may have recently noticed that I have been depressed lately, as I had said in Chapter 17 of The Fire Within. Here’s what happened.

The last time I logged on to MapleStory (My dad blocked it afterwards), I talked to the person I had a crush on (name not revealed for confidentiality). We were really close to eachother I guess, and we could talk about anything. Well, after several failed attempts of passing the 4th stage due to a certain absence (coughlvl1-30cough), I’ve finally made it. There isn’t much between the 4th stage and Ergoth the ugly deceased-looking demon of a dead guy with a giant skull scepter.

Maldran glanced around cautiously as the mushrooms stood silently. He adjusted his posture so that he appeared relaxed but could launch a volley of shurikens in a moment’s notice. The mushrooms continued to stand, motionless, waiting. Among them were Orange, Green, Blue, Horned, even a few Zombies. But still, they waited.

A Green mushroom charged forward. Maldran nearly threw an Avenger at it until he realized it was carrying bandages. It quickly stopped before ramming into him, then started working with his leg until it was in a temporary splint. “Thank you.” Maldran said, fumbling with his pockets.
