YEAH I’M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS CHAPTER. REALLY HAPPY ABOUT HOW IT CAME OUT. HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!!! Lots of romance, BUT the action is exciting as well, so it balances out well.

Argh… err… umph. I opened my eyes, and looked around. I was still in the forest and Jenny was still healing me. She smiled and looked back down.

“Hey where’s Dan?” I asked.
“Oh he’s taking care of Rory” Jenny replied without looking up.
“Hey is, uh, something wrong?” I tried to look at Jenny, but her hair was in the way. Jenny looked at me, nothing seemed wrong. She wasn’t crying or anything.
“It’s nothing…” I motioned her to come sit by me. She came and sat down.
“Something is different about you” I said. Jenny started to giggle. “Come on I know your hiding something” I teased her.
“Fine you want to know?” She asked. I nodded and she pressed her lips against mine. But this time it felt different, it felt like I was king of the world or all my troubles and problems were gone. But when her lips left mine, it was back to reality.

The Journey

Ch.1
Setting: Sunset: on the cliff of a beach, Cory is sitting out on the edge staring out at the ocean. Behind him are his friends, Dani, Matt and Jeff. Jeff and Matt are sound asleep from a hard day of training. Dani stares at Cory and wonders what he is thinking.

Cory: (sighs) I wonder what it’s like to be that bird up there in the sky. Seems they don’t have a care in the world.
Dani: hmm?
Cory: Sounds nice doesn’t it? To not have a care in the world.
Dani: (walks over and puts her hand on Cory’s shoulder) hehe you mean like those two? (Points to Matt and Jeff)
Cory: mhm
Dani: Cory, what are you thinking?
Cory: I’m thinking if there really is someone out there for me.
Dani: There is. You just haven’t found them yet.
Cory: mhm you always did have a way with words.
Dani: It’s getting late, let’s head back to the house
Cory: ok but what about the sleeping beauties over there?

(Dani pulls out some money and gently places it under Jeff and Matt)
Dani: get ready to run.

(Dani sees someone in the road and teleports in front avoiding her)

Sara: Pardon?
Cory: I said your bea…
Dani: He said nice to meet you.
Sara: Who are you?
Dani: My name is Danielle, But everyone calls me Dani.
(Cory’s jaw is wide open so Dani gently shuts it for him)
Dani: I can see you two have already met?
Sara: yes we have.
Cory: (still in a state of shock)
Sara: well it’s getting late I must get home it was nice meeting you both.
Dani: Nice meeting you too.
Cory: Same
(Sara runs further down the road until she disappears over the hill)
Cory: wow. She’s…she’s… so beautiful.
Dani: (waves hand back and forth in front of Cory’s face) hello anybody home?
Cory: huh? What? Oh guess I spaced out there for a sec.
Dani: (giggles) that’s so cute
Cory: what is?
Dani: you’ve got a love bug don’t ya?
Cory: huh?
Dani: it’s obvious you like that Sara girl already, I can tell
Cory: you’ve got to be kidding me?
Dani: Uh Oh, here come Matt and Jeff!
Cory: !!!
Jeff: (from a distance) GET BACK HERE! UR GONNA GET IT!!!
Cory: Let’s get back to the house ASAP!!!
(Cory, Dani, Jeff, Matt, all make it back to the house safe and sound. Matt and Jeff go to there room. Cory and Dani go to there’s Dani is in the top bunk and Cory is in the bottom)
Cory: Ooo. I can’t sleep!
Dani: (Is woken up) well. Now I cant sleep either…
Cory: I’ve got that girl on mind.
Dani: what girl? O you mean Sara?
Cory: Ya. (Sighs) I don’t know what came over me. When I looked at her today, I thought I was staring into the face of an angel straight from heaven.
Dani: Its just love at first sight. I told you the right girl would come one day.
Cory: Oh come on now. We’ve known her what? 5 minutes? I don’t think it’s really considered love yet.
Dani: (giggles) not yet! But it might be
Cory: good night Dani
Dani: Night:
Cory: (In head) Ya… it might just be one day.
Ch.3
Setting: It’s the very next day, Dani, Cory, Jeff, and Matt are awake and making their way towards the breakfast table. Cory is making breakfast because he’s in a cheery mood today.
Cory: (to everyone) Who wants eggs?
Dani: (blinks & and is holding her tail in her hands) your cooking? Are you ok?
Cory: I’m just feeling fantastic
Jeff: Well that’s good to know I’d like some eggs, scrambled please.
Matt: Ya I’ll have the same.
(Cory hands everyone their plates and grabs himself one and sits at the table)
Cory: eat up everyone we have a big day ahead of us.
Matt: why? What are we doing today?
Cory: well I wanted it to be a surprise but I guess I can tell you guys now. I got us all tickets to the Barlog match in the sky!
(Dani, Jeff and Matt drop their jaws)
Dani, Jeff, Matt: REALLY!!!!
Cory: That’s not all; I’m in the show!
(All speechless)
Cory: Well? Get dressed it starts in a few hours we have to leave so I can get situated.
(They all get dressed and head out when they run into Sara again)
Sara: Hi guys!
Dani: Hi Sara!
Cory: (speechless)
Matt: Hi Sara!
Jeff: Hi Sara!
Dani: What are you doing here?
Sara: Well I’m on my way to the Barlog Match!
All: REALLY!? SO ARE WE!!!
Sara: Cool! We can all go together!
Cory: Sounds great!
Cory: Guys we need to hurry I need to get ready!
(Cory uses haste on everyone and they speed off to the event. Cory goes off to get ready and the others get really good seats in the front row)
Announcer: LADIES AND GENTLEMENARE U READY FOR THE RUMBLE TODAY?
(Crowd Cheers)
Announcer: OK WELL WE ARE GOING TO START YOU ALL OFF WITH SOME WARMUPS FROM OUR LESSER-EXPERIENCED FIGHTERS. FIRST OFF WE HAVE ARITOKI A HUNTER TAKING ON THE KING SLIME!!!
Referee: Ready? BEGIN!
Ch.4
(Several matches go by and it’s almost time for Cory’s match)
Sara: Wow this is awesome
Dani: It sure is! It’s almost time for Cory to perform! Wait there he is! CORY OVER HERE! (Cory sees them and waves)
Announcer: OK EVERYONE IT’S THE MOMENT U’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!
THE FINAL MATCH! WE HAVE CORY VS THE HORRIFYING CRIMSON BARLOG!!
Dani: WHAT! HE’S FIGHTING THE BARLOG! HE’S GONNA GET KILLED!
Sara: I hope he’s going to be ok.
Announcer: RELEASE THE BARLOG!
(They open the Barlog cage and it comes roaring out and begins to fly towards Cory)
Cory: Come and get it.
(Cory runs straight for the Barlog, jumps up and begins aerial combat with it until)
Cory: DIE! (Assaulters downwards smashing into it’s helmet and the Barlog comes crashing down)
Announcer: OH MY STARS LADIES AND GENTS DID YOU SEE THAT!!
Cory: Whew.
Sara: GO CORY!!!
(Cory smiles and blushes)
(The Barlog gets up in a rage and hits Cory from behind causing him to crash into the wall)
Everyone: GASP!
Barlog: ROAR!! P..P..PROPHACY!
(Everyone is in a panic, The Barlog begins to cast his shadow lighting)
(Everyone escapes but Sara catches her foot on a steep and trips)
(The Barlog Races to Sara with his Jaws open)
Sara: AHHH!!!!
(Sara closes her eyes and then reopens them)
Sara: CORY! NOO!!!
(Cory has his arm in the Barlog’s jaws he is bleeding badly)
(Cory glaring at the Barlog)
Cory: Don’t you touch her!!!!
Cory: AHHH!!!!
(Cory throws back the Barlog Grabs Sara, and runs)
Cory: NOW U GUYS!
Dani, Matt, Jeff: On it! (They begin to cast spells on it eventually causing it to fall)
Sara: Omg, are you ok!?
Cory: Ya just a scratch (Lies)
(Cory collapses and is unconscious)
