While it’s not overly exciting, I leveled my Ice/Lightning Wizard, ZakuraMousy, to level 40, and I leveled my Cleric-to-be, Zakurachan, twice, and got her to level 16. So I’m two steps closer to having a Cleric, and just maxed Cold Beam on my Wizard.

So now I have to decide which to get next on ZakuraMousy, meditation or Lightning. Getting lightning means (I think), more places to train, but meditation means a stronger attack. I’m leaning towards getting my second attack rather than meditation, for the reasons that it looks cool, can handle multiple monsters, and will hopefully keep me from getting bored. ^_^; And while it’s not so immediate, I’m still thinking about exactly how to build my Cleric. I definitely want her for the money aspect though, so I’m thinking something along the lines of Maxing heal, MP Eater…and then whatever comes after, should I get her that far in level.

Anyways, time for some of the randomness of my day. This morning while I was on my Newbie Mage (what I affectionately call Zakurachan, my Cleric-to-be), a fellow Magician (if I recall correctly) asked me if I had any saphire ores. Since I had three, I sold them to her for 6k. What made the exchange so random was how good her grammar was. I mean, she used full punctuation, words, and everything, and was very polite. It just made me happy. Of course later, I realized I never buddied her or anything, and I proceeded to hit my head on my desk repeatedly for letting the first truly literate person I’ve met in a long time go by without so much as a screen shot.

Later on Mousy, what I call my wizard, a level 34 Cleric asked me to help him kill some Jr. Cellions. At the time I was at about 94% experience, but I partied him and helped him finish his quest. He left, and said he’d be back, but that never happened. Although just to break the monotonous killing cycle I tracked him as he went down the Orbis tower and then, apparently, signed off.

Most people, given the amount of time I’ve known MapleStory and had it installed on my computer and actually played probably would have been level 70, if not more, by now. I, if I had put all my efforts on one single character and not on a bunch of other random ones and hadn’t had to restart my main twice, would probably be at least level 50 by now. Seeing all the high-leveled players really makes me wonder why I had to be such an idiot and take so long to level. It’s just so disheartening when you realize that killing a monster only gets you about .02%, which makes it about 5000 monsters you have to kill before you level up. And what’s worse is, it only gets worse.

Where does everyone’s inspiration come from? That is, to level so much. I’ve seen how long and hard my sister has worked to get to level 53, and only makes me wonder how people ever got to level 100 and kept going. I can see if you have a ton of friends or are in an active guild, then you probably get enough motivation from them to keep going. You can probably even level and train alongside them, partying and having fun. Now that most, if not all, of the people I know of MapleStory have surpassed me in level, I have no one to train with. I know I’m not exactly outgoing, but I’m still nice. So why don’t I have people say, “Hey Mousy!” when I sign on? I’m sorry, I guess this is turning into a self-hate blog. I’m not really sad or angry or anything, I just wonder.

One last thing and I’ll call it a day. My sister has a Maple boyfriend, and her and him get along really well. They have a cash-shop ring that makes a cute little swords effect happen whenever they’re close. I guess I just get jealous because my real life boyfriend finds MapleStory boring, and so he won’t play. I was even going to make him a decent-leveled character on his old account, just to make it more interesting with more skills. But then I thought, what’s the use? He probably still won’t play anyway. >.<

Anyways, I’m not emo. Sorry if this blog sounded depressing, I just wanted to get it out.

I’m just happy I leveled. :3
