Hello MMOTales Community. I know I havent been the most active poster; I still havent made a name for myself. I mainly a credit that to my completely ridiculous name with numbers. -shudders- Anyway I felt like I was neglecting my duties, and I dont want to be one of those annoying people who make an account, mess around for a few days, then brush it off.
Ok, now to get to the point of this blog. As many (all) of you know, the population of hackers is on the rise. I must admit, that the temptation of hacking is, well, huge. I confess that since I do have a notorious hacker friend (known on Broa as 2174 and on CE Noodles) I did at one point hack. I am desperately ashamed of what I did and wanted to ask for the forgiveness of the maple community.
I know many of you may be disgusted with me at this point, but I had to come clean. Anyway, I have unofficially quit MapleStory. I know none of you really care, but I wanted to talk about Flyff. Last year, my old 8th grade friend Alec told me about Flyff. This is actually the first MMORPG I have played. When I started, I was completely hooked. I spent a lot of time leveling my Mercenary to try and beat Alec, since he had stated ahead of me. Well, I got to level 20 and got my flying board (The 200k one I forgot the name) we went exploring around the Flyff world. We made it all the way to Darkton 3 as I think its called. We had so much fun. But then I found MapleStory while looking up guided for Flyff. The rest is history.
Well with the increase of hackers now, I got completely sick of it. After I stopped hacking myself, I started a Bandit. Training was almost impossible because of all the public hacks; almost every good map had a hacker. Well it was then I remembered Flyff. I decided to start over, in a fresh community.
Well, Flyff is just as good as I remembered it. I started a bow acrobat in Aibat! Its so sm3xy!! And the best thing, NO HACKS! No more temptation. And theres no more worrying about hackers taking your map. No more Ksing! Flyff is so great. And I got a great Bow of Accuracy that will last me till around level 34. If anyone of you play on the AIBAT server my name is TwoRivers. Ill be on a lot after my midterms.

Yea, the community in FlyFF is AMAZINGLY nicer than in MapleStory, that could also be a reason why there are almost no hackers. (I think there are a few, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard any first person accounts of seeing one)

I admit I looked in hacking websites for a while, and did some stuff, but right after I learned my friend got 31 levels overnight (one day later) I vowed never to hack.

I just started FlyFF, and yeah, it is kind of smexy. But I still haven’t weened myself off Maple yet, so. I find no difference between Flyff and Maple’s community, only perhaps for the lack of ‘CC PLZ’. 😛 Hackers aren’t really widespread in SEA, I guess.
But if you ever have the mind to play in Mia (a handful of other MMOtalers are there too), I’m SilverFx the Vagrant that Levels Up Like A Snail Crawling.
Yah I know. People in FlyFF are much nicer than in maple, for the most part. Several people were willing to help be out when i first started. And the no hackers thing is even more of a plus.

I think the reason, like you said, that no one hacks in FlyFF is that there’s no temptation. The game blocks you from KSing, there’s a constant spawn, there’s an excellent drop rate. . .why would you need to?
Yay. I will definatly come over now. It will suck to start over, but it will be worth it.

yea, ur like me, i looked in a free maple hax sites from google, but i guess it would be unfair, and too easy plus i could had gotten a trojan
