NORTHERN MARKETS
Episode 58+ Final Battle, FIGHT!
The two of them stood on the frigid ground, staring at eachother.
Burning rage and hatred filled their bodies as they stared eachother down.
It was the classic fight. Hacker vs. Pureblood. Both sides hated eachother with a flaming passion.
Bob stood about 70 feet away from where Chinko and the hacker woman stood, cowering behind a rock.
High above them, the 200 strong Justice Arrow guys circled and hovered on their flying boards in the pale
blue pre-dawn sky.
They readied their weapons, about to fire-
“Hold your fire!” Laini ordered.
Half the men and women stared at her dumbstruck. Why the hell would she tell them NOT
to shoot down a hacker?
“Let the sin fight her. He runs with holy spirit that guides him in the crusade against hackers!”
The bowmen grudgingly held back and watched as they hovered above.
Then, the fight began.
Chinko screamed some war cry as he bolted into a sprint after the hacker woman. He jumped in the air,
throwing his flying board under his feet and fired up the board’s engine the second his feet hit the deck.
The dexless sin rocketed through the air, and opened fire with steely knives. Just as he closed in,
the woman whipped up a burst of wind as she flew into the air.
“YOU’RE GONNA DIE, BYTCH!” Chinko screamed, slamming his foot on the targeting pad of the board.
The board shot up into the air and he held on tight with one hand while whipping knives into the air.
As the two of them flew into the air above the frozen landscape, Owl Spirit darted and bolted side
to side as she dodged the knives, which whistled as they cut though the air. She felt the wind trail as
one shot past her ear. The next knife slammed into her face.
Owl felt a sharp sting of searing electrical pain as a loud electrical crackle sounded.
She looked and saw the knife falling back to earth.
How could it be?-
The hackium. The hackium’s energy was deflecting the knives! She was immune to the stars and knives!
The Justice Arrow troops followed at a distance.
“He’s not getting any damage on her!” one sergeant said, “They’re just bouncing right off!”
Filled with rage, the assassin flew up at the hacker, looking to drive the sharp spear tip
of his board into her. He slammed the gas pedal hard, and the board’s propellers and jets
blasted harder to increase speed. He crouched low, curseyor ready in one hand, his claw in the other,
and the evil bloodthirsty look on his face. “Yer going’ to hell, puta!” Chinko shouted, firing up his
Shadow Buddy skill. Behind him, a shadow form appeared and jumped in front.
Then the two of them clashed in the air!
Owl, still weak and tired, used all of her might to blow away the sin, but he was on her, and jammed his
dagger into her chest.
The hack energy exploded as the knife hit, blowing the sin back. Quickly Owl let herself drop away.
Chinko spun around in the air as the board still rocketed out of control. He slammed his feet on the pedals
and regained control, but the hacker was nowhere!
“W.T.F! Where’d you go?”
Owl hit the ground and stared up at the bewildered assassin above. She placed her hand over her chest
where the knife had hit. Felt like she got stabbed, but the injury was crackling with hack energy, and somehow the
pain slowly faded; masked by the pins ‘n’ needles feeling. The stump of her right wrist throbbed painfully.
Owl stared over at the shredded body of Azure, and dashed over. She pressed her only hand
on the girl’s body as she searched for a pulse. She looked up. The assassin hadn’t seen her yet.
She shook Azure hard, trying to stir up some life in her; then a bolt of black energy shot out of her hand and
into the girl’s body.
“Ow!” Owl cried, pulling her hand away. Now her arm felt numb, and she was feeling worse than before.
She looked up–and saw the sin blasting down at her!
Owl dashed away from the girl’s body just as Chinko shot over it on the air board.
The two closed in again and Owl fired wind spears at the assassin; deflecting stars and knives!
Chinko swung hard and furiously, desperate to make a stab.
He punched her in the face and kicked her in the gut, then whipped out blast of knives and stars.
Owl threw up a wind shield, blocking the stars and knives.
Chinko reached back, and jammed his dagger at her, but the wind sheild caught it and twisted his arm
hard. He felt every bone and tendon in his arm break!
“Yeooow!” He bolted away on the board. The crazed sin fell off and slammed into the
icy ground. The board landed 50 feet away.
Owl wasted no time preparing a gun from thin air and opened fire with an endless storm
of wind bullets.
Chinko dashed and darted as he ran to the Ignace board, raised it,
and used it as a shield as he flew away, but Owl kept on him.
The compressed air shots struck the underside of the Ignace with a series of
metallic ‘pings.’
The Justice Arrow troops watched tensly from above.
One woman weiled her xbow, and peered through the scope mounted on it.
Laini watched carefully. If she ordered them to fire at the hacker,
the sin would also be hit, and seeing how slick he was in battle,
she she didn’t want this fuqked up dexless sin to be sacrificed.
The guy was pretty damn fast for dexless. Dexterity, or dex for short
was a measure of one’s ability to defend himself or herself.
These dexless people were slow, and took way more damage than normal people.
On the otherhand, they inflicted far more damage than regular guys ever do.
It was only a matter of time before Laini’s troops would defy her orders
and attack them both.
The gun Owl had made out of compressing air to the density of a solid,
looked like a submachine gun. She had to force her aching brain to keep
concentration to ensure the constant supply of air bullets or the whole thing
would vanish.
Chinko hid behind a rock and grabbed his messenger. “Bob! Get your ass overhere
and help me! Make yourself useful for once, you moron! This hacker’s worse than
a lightning mage on crack, for fuqk sakes!” he shouted.
Bob, who was scared crapless by the woman’s immense power forced himself out
from behind his rock on the other side of the flat ground.
He held up his Serpent Spitter rifle, and slowly crept up on the hacker, who
stopped firing. He hustled his way behind a ridge till he could get within
shooting range.
The hacker looked around. Bob found a small opening between two
rocks, where she couldn’t see him. He aimed the rifle, (which looks
like an ordinary serpent tongue), and squeezed the trigger.
A thousand diamond-cut slivers pierced through the air at their target.
Such small, fast, and lethally sharp objects sliced through her wind sheilds.
Owl jumped and flew up into the air to avoid being shot.
Chinko stole his chance and jumped on the board. He shot forward after her,
dagger out. He ran out of stars, and that was just plain BAD.
If Bob could keep his shots on her, Chinko might get a chance!
The sin flew up behind her, and did something most purebloods would NEVER do!
He jumped off his flying board as he swooped up behind the hacker, landed on her back
and wrapped his free arm around her neck in one hell of a choke-hold.
She was caught completely off guard, and the enemy’s iron grip on her neck
closed her throat and she couldn’t breathe!
As they fell, Chinko reached back with his curseyor and jammed it into her
throat several times, spewing black blood into the sky.
“YOU’RE GONNA FUQKING DIE YOU HACKING COCKAROAH!!! he screamed as loud as he could
into her ear.
The two fell fast, slamming head first into the ground, kicking up dust and
snow as they hit.
The hack energy and magic exploded on her neck as his knife cut through her skin.
In his rage, the sin was too dumb to realize the hackium magic was crackling through
his arm! They were both sprawled out on the ground and he stabbed relentlessly,
trying to jam the blade into her wind pipe and split it open.
“That idiot! He’s gonna get contaiminated!” one of the snipers exclaimed.
“Dammit, you moron sin!” Laini cussed. Then she made up her mind.
“Allright, Open fire! Do it while theyre still down!” she shouted.
Azure Rainbow sat up. She was dead tired, but still managed to get a glimpse of the fight.
“Agh!” she groaned as she saw the sin guy jamming a big knife into Owl.
An explosion of magic and hackium magic went off everytime the knife was jammed in.
She filled up with an extreme surge of rage and energy she never thought she had
as she became increasingly pissed!
The energy in her body crackled violently as it welled up.
Chinko’s messenger rang and it’s annoying ringtone echoed off the ice covered
rocks.
“Arrgh!” he grumbled as he snatched it from the clip on his belt and answered it.
“Sin, what theh hell are you doing!? Are you trying to get a death wish! Did
you get contaminated!??” Laini shouted into her messenger. She held up her
hand motioning for her troops to hold their fire.
Bow, cross-bows, and xbows were cocked, and the men and women holding them
became increasingly impatient.
“Shut up, woman, I’m fuqking busy here!” Chinko snapped back, as he jumped off
the hacker’s body. Black blood oozed out of the gashes in her neck and stained
the snow.
“HEY! Don’t you DARE address a commanding officer of the Justice Arrow that way, sin!
If you went and got yourself contaminated, we’re going to have to put you down,
you moron!”
“Fuqk off!” Chinko snapped. “Go bake me a cake, woman!” he snapped, then smashed
the messenger to the ground. The hand-phone like device shattered as it hit.
He turned around….and hardly saw it coming!
Azure screamed as she rocketed through the air by the powerful blast of
dangerous raw energy. She closed the 200 foot distance between her and that evil
assassin is a fraction of a nano-second. She rocketed out of control, but
the little magician blasted like a projectile and slammed full speed
into Chinko with such force the impact carried them both 300 feet till they
both slammed full force into a rock shattering it.
The sin spun through the air, slammed into the ground, and the remaining
impact force tumbled him over till he slammed into a nearby rock wall.
“OMG! Did you see that! That came out of nowhere!”
“Holy s***!”
The Justice Arrow troops were completley suprised.
Chinko was in pain never felt before. That little bich slammed into him hard,
cracking his osfa armor plate with her bare shoulder. Not only that, but she also
shattered his solar plexis, and damn near shattered all of his ribs!
He felt the cracks all over his rib cage, and it threatened to collapse on his
lungs and heart.
He couldn’t even breathe, but he tried, as he desperately tried to force himself
to his feet.
He coughed and gagged. The pain was so intense. Also felt like his liver got
shredded by the hit and crammed into his stomach.
His wide eyes became bloodshot. That hit took everything out of him.
Apparently Azure wasn’t done yet. She looked up and saw the swarm of bowmen flying
on boards in the air, and she saw them open fire on her.
Arrow rain filled the sky as arrow eruption sliced upward from the ground.
The arrow rain slammed into her, throwing her back.
The bowmen did not let up for 2 good minutes. Then they stopped and the ground was quiet.
Then AGAIN, the little magician, completely consumed by this newfound alien energy,
shot up like a rocket into the sky, and cast her magic claws.
Razor sharp beams of bright blue magic energy struck the J.A. troops, with 10 times
the force a level 28 could ever administer.
The bowmen grunted and screamed as huge magic claws cut and ripped through their
armor, clothes, and their skin. Some got lucky and had their eyes gouged out by the magic
claws as the magician shot around them like a heat seeking missile casting
again and again.
Laini flew clear of the airborne carage. “OMG! What the hell!” she cussed as she saw her
team getting ripped apart.
Those who weren’t hit spun about in confusion, and fired everything they could.
Arrow Bombs, arrow rain, summoned birds flew everywhere, completely out of control.
Laini screamed for them to stop but it was no use. Magic claws sliced through her
troops, and lit up the dawn sky.
Arrow Bombs flew randomly and slammed into other J.A. troops, blowing them to smithereens.
The arrow rain cut through the rest of them and even their own casters, and
the summoned birds were chopped up by the claws of magic!
Azure shot her way through the frenzy, hack energy deflecting everything that hit her.
One loose flying board slammed into her with such speed the thing broke apart!
the magician, high as hell right now, only felt a punch to the chest as she hit it.
She still cast her magic claws, ripping her enemies.
Chunks of flesh, busted boards, weapons, clothes, armor, and other debris rained
on the ground below.
Laini stared in total, awe, horror, wonder, and fear. This little hacker
just wasted all of her 300 troops! She hid behind a rock, and came face to face with the
severed head of one of her best captains!
“OMG!” she cried. She recalled just a few days ago back in Henesys when
she requested her superiors grant her permission to command a team of
level 120+ Bow Masters. Instead, she got only two of them, and the rest were
snipers and rangers between level 70 and 90. She KNEW it! She KNEW a higher
level team was needed! Everyone else assumed they were going to
a turkey-shoot; to kill off the refugees from Kerning. But here
she encountered two super hackers. This mission was failed.
Bob shivered in fear as he stared from behind his hiding spot.
“Ohhh man! This is messed up!” he muttered. He forgot all about his rage and
desire to kill the magician that cost him his job advancement. Now
he just wanted to get the hell out of here in one piece!
Owl woke up; the bleeding gashes on her neck sealed up, but she was weak from
blood loss. She, too, saw Azure reduce the Justice Arrow force to
kibbles’n’bits. The windmage couldn’t figure out how the living hell
a little magician like that could have stored up so much power, after she
was killed and resurrected twice in less than 24 hours! She should be completely
drained just from the hackium pulling her body together two times.
Then it hit her: There was a deposit of hackium or magicka in the ground nearby.
These two minerals had energy fields around them, and any untrained body
would draw on the lethal amounts of energy and use it.
Hackers, however, had life insurance in this situation; the hackium held them intact
and used some of the surplus energy, and prevented the body from being destroyed by
such power.
Owl felt it surging inside her too. She got up, like she were on PCP or something,
and walked towards the the battle.
One last J.A. troop was still alive, dodging the magic claws. She powered up her
bow of the excess energy, ready to fire off arrow rain when suddenly-
-she exploded!
The woman burst to shreds and everything fell to the ground.
Owl walked, swerving side to side in her footsteps as the raw magic energy
consumed her. She felt the invading magic react with the hackium inside her,
and it hurt.
First thing she discovered was the assassin, all twisted and heaped up against the rock.
He was twitching all over, and Owl noticed the crater in his chest.
The osfa armor plate was completely cracked all over. The guy’s face was pale white
with shock and his eyes were red. He was f***ed up.
Owl stared at him in her daze.
Somehow, the sin managed to wave his middle finger at her in a last ditch
effort of defiance.
Before she could react, the rage maxed out inside her and the magic burned hot.
Owl remade her phantom arm and cast on hell of a super bright lighing bolt
at the assassin, blowing his head clean off!
A loud clap of thunder shook the valley. All that was left of the assassin, was
a fried corpse under the smoking armor, with the black-burnt stump of his neck.
Melted chunks of bone scattered around him, and the copper plate
from his identity cap rested at Owl’s feet. The fabric was burnt clean off.
The body shook for a second then went limp, falling to the side.
Owl turned to find Azure. The little magican drifted back to the ground and just sat there
waiting for the caustic magic to wear off. Owl was happy. they killed the Justice
Arrow, and avenged the deaths of those they killed. It was over. Now all they had
to do was get accross the wreckage of the bridge.
Bob dared not move now. The hackers were both up and moving looking for
more prey. His crotch was frozen now; the lighting bolt and clap of thunder
made him piss his pants, and now he was afraid his nuts and bolts would
get bad freezer burn. After what seemed like ten minutes, the sunlight touched the
top of the cliffs that lined the valley.
He hobbled through the cold, when a hand clamped tight on his shoulder.
