MapleSAP weekly (Oct22)

MapleSAP News Magazine Weekly
Oct 22-28, 2K7

WORD FROM EDITOR
MapleSAP staff are pround and ecstatic to announce that the montly news magazine
will be published on a weekly basis. However, SAP fans should know that
weekly isn’t a 100% garantee, but the most infrequent time between releases
will be kept at a max of 3 weeks.

MapleSAP is dedicated to bringing not just alternate to mainstream news, but of events and things
that effect everyone at home and around. The content we present will be a stark contrast to
the more bland, conservative type of news that comes to you on TV, radio and newspapers.
Nonetheless, exciting articles, facts, and tid-bits will be packed into every issue of MapleSAP!

As for pricing, MapleSAP is not out to make a profit, but to have enough cash to pay the rent for
our offices, fees, bills, and to keep producing an exciting productive magazine.
Our staff, also require a decent rate of pay not only to feed and house themselves and their families,
but to live a decent happy life and still come to work each morning. The current set price
of 400 mesos is not expected to rise anytime soon.
And now, on with the show…

WEDDING SYSTEM ‘OUT OF WHACK’ FOR EVERYONE
Amoria Wedding Village
At the beginning of this month, the MNHR Marital Authority passed a bill allowing
couples from the primarily Azn SEA Lands Territory to go to
Amoria to get married. Since then, thousands of couples have chosen Amoria over
Peach Blossom Island, the traditional marriage center whose services cost couples
hundreds of millions of mesos. At Amoria, total costs were clocked at 1-3 million mesos, nearly 100X
cheaper than PBI.
As a result of the MNHR’s decision, busniness has fallen by 85% for the resorts at PBI, while
Amoria is experiencing one hell of an economic boom, despite their refusal to raise fees.

That was only the beginning, and unfortunately, the good times came to an end in just 3 weeks.
As money pours in like water, ecomonic forcasters warn that inflation is on a steep rise, and the value
of the meso will begin to drop. What does that mean to you? It means that prices will begin to rise soon.
Not for wedding services in Amoria, but for basic food and supplies. Supply vendors in Victoria have already
risen prices for the hordes of incoming SEA Landers, who many have noted are ‘quite rich’ since they could
pay for the permits and flight tickets to cross the devide between the northern territories and the southern
territories.
As early as the 10th of this month, Southern Maplers seeking to get married were reeling from the impact-
Ammoria has become inaccessible to them because the place is constantly booked up, and according to
surveys, many feel that the SEA Landers were given better priority because they blow hundreds of
thousands more than Victorians do on clothes and services.
Last week, they were hit again- the MNHR took Victorian couples’ marriage applications from the offices
at Ammoria and transferred them to Peach Blossom Island to cut down on wait time, despite the fact that the new
bill fails to allow Southerners to travel to PEach Blossom Island, a Northern territory despite the island
lies only 150 miles southwest of Lith Harbour.
No news was issued for this change, and couples with weddings scheduled for as late as January to March of 2K8,
were contacted by administrators at Ammoria and told to go to PBI.
Already they face crushing costs that Southerners have not seen before-
They must travel to Orbis to get a permit to access PBI, (80K to Orbis + 450K application fee
for the permit to go to Peach Blossom Island). Their applications to the MNHR at Ammoria were deemed invalid,
so they must re-apply for 10 times the price- another whopping 300K. Because there’s no ferry service
between Lith and PBI, the couples must take the flight to PBI- a staggering 750K and apply for other things
once they get there, which push to total past 2.2 million, not including accomodation and food at the
resort. After the wedding is set up, the couple have paid up to 5 million mesos.
Because of the prices, only 5 couples who registered were able to marry there- paying a total of
61.8 million mesos. Other couples who gave up, once they were informed that the prices were beyond
their cash load, and wanted to leave must pay heavy fines for cancelling out and returning to
Orbis. Each couple that has left PBI without marrying paid nearly 7 million mesos.

The impact is no less than serious, not only for couples, but for everyone, if left alone. Protests
and rallies are already being held in Kerning, Ellinia, and at the MNHR’s office at ORbis, calling for
something to be done. “We are being forced to go to that money maker island instead of marrying
at the place that was set up for US!” complains one man.
“I don’t think we should kick the people from the SEA Lands out, even though we are being royally
screwed here, but something has to be done to rectify the situation for everybody here.”

Orbis
The guys responsible for last month’s rollbacks were arrested by GMs at Orbis Station last Wednesday while
attempting to board a ship to Victoria. Last month, they hacked the MSS system, causing millions of
Maplers in the SEA LAnds to lose their entire bank accounts, resulting in a total loss of 760 billion mesos.
GMs and police raided a warehouse in Singapura, uncovering the equipment and boxes full of money.
The suspects fled to the Riprey and boarded the BlueBird to Orbis. They were busted
after failing to produce crossing permits, and returned to Singapura to face a mass of charges.

Ludibrium
After a month since its opening, the Ludibrium Maze PQ arena has been ranked as the most dangerous
PQ. Believe it or not, LMPQ produces more injuries, poisonings, and zonked-out participants, totalling
human damage to be higher than casualties at the Abandoned Tower, and even the Paths of Time below.
Every day, ambulances or police cars arrive to remove inured or poisoned people or to
break up fights around the clock tower.
The Ludus Lakes County General Hospital reports at least 20 injured come in every day during the week,
suffering from burns from dark scrolls, poisioning from the caustic mana fuel, or from fighting the
monsters in the maze. Every 2 weeks, one or two dead mages are brought in.
The PQ strike failed; as it never happened- the majority of workers voted against it.
GMs and local police are considering setting up a permanent garrison at the Maze PQ.

KLON Lawsuit threatens freedom of press, and other things.
Kerning City
On Friday night, three KCP swat teams stormed the offices of the left wing hippy-urban STAMP Group
and took down the 15 people working there in a violent manner. They were arrested and taken away.
Security camera footage with audip shows the cops beating down the people, both Victorians and SEA Landers,
and said they were being charged with ‘gross misrepresntation’

The lawyers and attorneys of J&M Ham Associates, reps for media giant K.L.O.N. filed a 2.2 billion meso lawsuit
against youth news group S.T.A.M.P.
According to sources, KLON is suing for damages done by STOMP when they began scrutinizing
and breaking apart KLON’s documentaries on the Justice Arrow, the controversial bowmen organization
that rules Henesys. STAMP claims the documentaries were a series of ‘lies and coverups’ designed
to protect the Justice Arrow; who are a key threat to ethnic minorities in Victoria, especially in
Kerning City.
STAMP’s workers have produced significant evidence that question the information presented
in the documentaries, and left a ‘mortal fracture’ in the armour that the programs seem to pose as.
KLON’s lawyers went to court to crush STAMP’s efforts, and keep themselves on top, despite the
crimes the Justice Arrow continue to commit. J&M-H’s legal actions are a direct violation
of freedom of expression and press under federal Maple law.

S.T.A.M.P. a Singapura, SEA-Lands based-youth-operated media group, recent established the new branch in
Kerning City. STAMP’s objectives are simple- Thousands of members in town send in various random, and odd facts
covering a wide spectrum of issues and knowledge, and STAMP posts everything each month.
The types of articles range from lines with pics to page-long reports. The group; popular in
Singapura, Brisbane, and Kong Kong and now Kerning, are not a mainstream group, as society
places moral opposition on what these people work to bring to our attention.
Last year, STAMP held a pledge program to raise funds for a local program intent on eliminating
the mozzie bug, a misquito that leaves thousands really sick every year in hot regions
of the SEA Lands. medical companies which make money off selling medicines to those hit by mozzies, went to
the courts and tried to shut the program down and have fatal fines levied against STAMP, however,
judges dismissed the case on several occasions.

In Victoria, it is a different story. the teams of young people working for STAMP gathered
information on Justice Arrow crimes in the region ranging from their acts of terror in Kerning’s Azn districts
to kidnappings in Lith and Ellinia. They were working on a joint project with MapleSAP when the documentaries
came out- KLON’s attempt to dispel ‘rumours’ that threaten the J.A’s reputation.
Without MapleSAP’s participation, the kids, youth and youg adults picked each of the three documentaries
apart in secret, failing to notice minor infractions of copyright law, despite their best efforts.

The lies, measured with solid evidence (mainly from personal accounts) were presented
in STAMP’s October edition, which was distributed as far as Ludibrium. Not only are the works convincing,
they were no less than true, a fact that no doubt enraged KLON who called their lawyers the day the paper
was released.

Another article that hit KLON in the solar-plexis was a picture of a contract. The entire article on that
document (it’s unspecified how STAMP obtained it) revealed a partnership or alliance between
the Justice Arrow and KLON Media, no doubt a main reason why the documentaries looked so good.
While STAMP braced themselves to be hit for their infractions of the law, if any at all, J&M-Ham and
Associates are cooking up something mean for the first court hearing next Monday. According to
KLON News, application for the case to be done in federal court in Orbis was submitted, and
if they get their way, it is going to be a very rough ride for those who ran up against the bad guys.

As a result, all newspapers were removed by police and GMs, and MapleSAP posted a special on the lawsuit
on Tuesday.

News of the lawsuit leaves thousands of residents in Kerning City enraged, especially in 7ung-Hwang,
and they aren’t going to just sit back and watch. Rallies were held this weekend infront of
the offices of KLON downtown and at Victoria supreme court. The activists demand that
the lawsuit be dropped immediately.

Killer Hacker Shot Dead
Perion
A murderous hacker, using his vac hack to crush his victims to death before eating them was
captured by GMs after his truck crapped out in a road chase. He stands accused of murdering
up to 430 people over a 9 month period.
The man resisted arrest, and tje GMs feared he was a threat, so they simply took out their
guns and shot him 22 times in total.
The GM who arrested him said, “I always wonder: Why the bleep doesnt the Justice Arrow
go after guys like this? It would make our work so much easier!”

Summon Bags blow up school
Ellinia–
The entire Sciences building of Ellinia’s Academy was evacuated when a student walked in a bathroom to
find a big pile of squirming summon bags, all flashing.
The building was emptied just before they went off, releasing Balrogs, Mushmoms, and other dangerous monsters,
who ended up trapped in the building, and started busting their way through the stone structure.
By the time they got out, level 1XX mages came to the rescue and killed everything. No one died, but the
whole building was demolished. Ellina GMs are investigating.

  1. I like it.

But I don’t like the way you paragraph sentences when they aren’t even finished. Like this:

One day, a fat kid called Cupcake decided to go and
    kill all the parakeets in
    sight.

    o_o

    [Edit]

    I adore the content, though.

    Very original. <3

  2. i tried to make this look like a newspaper article and i am taking english class and guess wat we are doing?
    GRAMMAR *dun dun dun*
im happy u like the story but seeing how you dont like the way i put the sentences, (there are SO many different
writing styles, i read one book, it puts me to sleep, i read another and bam! 4 hours have gone by XD)
so try to realize we are on 2 very different wavelengths when it comes to writing TY

  3. if the lines look messed up, it happens when i press the ‘submit’ button. when i tried to edit this, it looked the way it should be, but when i pushed
‘submit’ it comes out all screwed up looking

  4. *happily pokes the Wolfdude* ^^

Why don’t you try to just type it out without hitting enter to align the text? Kinda like, just typing in the comment box, but don’t use the enter key to align the right sides of the paragraph. Because when you do that, it doesn’t quite translate when the website takes your text and posts it as a blog. I think that’s why we get
    strange sentence breaks
    like these. XD

*pokes you morely* Is that STAMP thing based off STOMP? XD
