<FLIGHT PATH TO LEAFRE OPENS TO PUBLIC>
Orbis, OSS
–After months of intense negotiation between the administrations of the Korean Lands and Orbis, the KL government
has finally agreed to allow the general public [civilians] to fly to Riprey.
The blue painted Airbus A381 jumbo jet marked ‘BLUEBIRD II’, loaded with 500 passengers, mainly level 120’s and corporate personnel, took to the sky at 7:00 am Orbis Time. The original BlueBird aircraft is in Riprey under repairs at the time. The flight lasted eight hours and touched town at Riprey Air Station at 3 PM, and the passengers were welcomed by the mayors of Leafre and Riprey.
The flight path was opened to Southern Maplers after years of intense talks between the governments of the Korean Lands and Orbis. Originally, only level 120 Maplers who applied months in advance were allowed to fly to the Korean Lands, and only business travellers were allowed to fly to Orbis. The landmark decision to allow the Southern maplers to Leafre is an outcome of the November motion to allow SEA Lands couples to Victoria from Singapura via Leafre and Orbis.
For the time being, flights departing and arriving will be on a weekly basis every Wednesday until further notice.

<ANNUAL VICTORIA SUMMIT TENSE PRELUDE TO WAR: JUSTICE ARROW>
Lith Harbour, VIC–
This year’s summit amongst the representatives from all cities in Victoria Territory was perhaps where tensions almost exploded between the administrations of Henesys and Kerning City. During the question period, the Kerning diplomatic team demanded answers from Henesys regarding the Justice Arrow’s presence and campaign of terror in Kerning.
The high chiefs of the JA and the Kerning City Police hashed it out too, shouting questions at eachother and exchanging racial slurs and other vulgarities. the KCP is demanding answers from the JA over the attack against the police and demands compensation from Henesys.
The Henesys diplomats and their JA counterparts responded back with insults on the city’s moral policies and stark contrast to the hardline right-wing conservatism that Henesys employs.
In addition, Henesys regional governor Jack Arrowington threatened Kerning City with sanctions; warning them that Henesys will cut the food supply and doom the city of 6.8 million to economic and food shortage problems.
In response, the KC team exploded with rage.

To make matters worse, the diplomat team from Ellinia attacked both sides, making demand of both sides for compensation. Ellinia demands an apology and compensation from Henesys for the JA’s attack against a magician village and shooting deaths of high profile mages, and is demanding that Kerning improve treatment of its magician population and protect them against the JA.

The Henesys team re-opened their arguments and made racist remarks against magicians and did not hesitate to express their intolerance towards them.

In the midst of the 3-way tension, the representaves from Lith Harbor and Perion pleaded with the three war mongering parties to leave them out of this growing crisis.

<ENEMY HACKERS BAGGED AT MOUNT POPAPULOUS>
El Nath, OSS
After 7 months of war, Maple Peace Corps soldiers finally fought their way to the top of the mountain after killing hordes of Coolies, enraged Yetis and Lycanthropes, and stormed their way into the hackers’ underground base early Monday morning. After an intense firefight more than half of the hackers who infected the life on the mountain and tried to overun El Nath ended up dead, and the survivors were captured and taken down to the base at El Nath.

Despite the MPC’s promise for a quick end to the war, the fighting between the Yetis, Pepes, and Lycanthropes has not stopped, but MPC commander general Yali Yates said in a press conference that the MPC will be making a slow and eventual pullout. He said a sudden withdrawl of all troops would leave El Nath threatened again. although its been a costly war, Yates said that upon capturing those hackers, the MPC has fulfilled its objectives.

<SINDITS PROTEST DESCRIMINATION AT PQ ARENAS>
What is a SinDit anyway? A Sindit is a bandit who throws stars with the Lucky-skill instead of using DoubleStab.
Over the weekend, sindits held protest rallies in Ludibrium at the Eos Tower and at the Maze entrance. They are protesting the descrimination they always face from other Maplers.
Over the last year, sindits have been constantly expelled from PQ teams for throwing stars instead of using their daggers. Sometimes they are viewed as hackers. In 2006, hacking bandits began to throw starts to deter attention from themselves.
Sindits in the Abandoned Tower arena throw stars to open boxes, kill ratz from a distance, and they throw stars at Alishar to avoid getting killed. In the Maze arena, sindits keep a distance from the dangerous Tauromacis and still do their damage without getting injured themselves.
One sindit claims that their HP is low, and they are at greater risk. They say it is unfair when the team leader orders them to use their Savage Blow attacks against the dangerous monsters. The dit, who’s name is witheld said he has seen too many friends die from being too close. “My brother was a sindit too. The team leader told him to use his dagger on the monsters in the Maze. He said he would get killed, but she dismissed his concerns and told him there was a cleric in the team. The cleric did nothing to heal him and he got hit. Now hes a half dead quad living at the Home For Cripples!”

Other times, sindits are constantly scorned expecially by hermits and other bandits.
“This one guy saw me throwing steelies at the coolies that just came out of the box, and he looks at me like W.T.F. They always do that.”
“My girlfriend’s a sindit, and everybody just sent text messages to the GM calling her a hacker. She got shot as we came out of the maze…”

While bandits are specialized in close range combat, sindits have an extra privelege- to attack from a distance. Neither hermits or bandits have both skills as do sindits. The Ludibrium PQ Authority has taken the sindits’ concerns into consideration and will review them.
