Okay, a bit of a rant here, and this might be a little bit touchy for some of you who might be in one of the categories I list here. For one, there are quite a few things in Maple Story that piss me off, and yet I still play. Ironic, it is.

1. KSers. Yes, I can take unintentional KSing, but when it’s gone on for about 5 minutes, I think you people should receive the message there. The oh-so commonplace annoyance you see like, what, every five minutes of your brief life on Maple?!

“But i wuz here 1st” Yeah, you know what? I was on the map clearly where you can see the red dot on the map. Unless you’re color-blind (and God bless those who are, I’m sorry), you can SEE RED PIXELS. Does it occur to you that you could just ask me to share the map, or show some freaking COMMON COURTESY of pressing a few buttons to get yourself an empty map? Please. Provoking people who haven’t had a good day at all is ONLY HURTING YOURSELF. So please, do the world a favor, stop whining, and PICK A CHANNEL.

2. Begging. What really ticks me off is people who don’t have the good decency of being REALISTIC here. Okay, so how many SENSIBLE people go off to some random guy on the street, and ask him for money? Well gee, lots of us started poor, so what makes you think you’re so special? I guess that makes the rest of the community special too. Pick a monster, kill, get the cash. It’s simple enough as is.

3. “CC PLZ” Wizet did not give you, in any way, ownership of a whole map/channel. I know, I can show some courteous actions and change channels right away, but after seeing that on what, 15 channels, you think I’d put up with it? I mean, if you want a person to change channels, RESPECT them enough to TYPE OUT YOUR WORDS. Y’know how many times it takes for someone to change channels when you say “CC PLZ”? Probably 30 minutes to 1 hour. Y’know how long it takes for someone to change channels when I say “Would you mind changing channels?”? 10 seconds flat. Deal with the extra letters, no one cares about what you say if you’re an annoying idiot who can’t type.

4. Grammar and spelling. If lyf wnt on lyk dis and i went and kpt saing dis stoof ppppl wud slap meh wit basbal batz all day lololz. CC PLZ

If you could read that whole sentence, you play Maple Story. Enough said.

5. Pros. Okay, I know a lot of people who are mature about being high leveled and those who are not. But what I am sick of here is that people insist on calling them “omgz pro”. Listen to this. People who play Maple enough to get to that level are NOT PRO. They’re highly experienced, but I see NOTHING labelling them pro.

“2. One who earns a living in a given or implied occupation: hired a professional to decorate the house.”

Do you see many people getting paid to play Maple Story here? Not really, unless you’re a GM. As an addition, the immature pros I see out there are usually failing kids who play Maple just to show every one of their little friends what level they are. From me to you guys; I’m not impressed.

6. Super Megaphones. As if we don’t get enough spam, we don’t need more by hearing dirty stuff in our chat box (Buddy chat excluded. ;D) or how your life is going. For your information, and my sanity, no one cares. Spend your $13 on something more worthwhile. Like muffins. Cookies. College education. Me. All listed are better than showing you’re stupid to the whole server.

If you read to the end of this whole blog, you need to regain the 10 minutes you just lost skimming this. And of course, cookie and a round of applause for your boredom.
