The maple event is going to approximately end in2 hours and 50 minutes for the Eastern Time Zone. Playing 2 days of the last maple events has taught me something. Ironic too

I remember seeing the patch load. I was exicted, as maple items means = CASH! I was a bit poor, havin 3 mil. I told myself that I would find maple items.

Skip 20 days later…

I am left with a maple sword. Bleh. 750k max. I feel a bit depressed as I told myself I would find my dream item, the Maple Hat. I am left with 2 mil, buying a soul singer for 500k. I smile as this was a good deal. Motivation is only the anticipation of leveling (90%) and the thoughts of maple hat

(Appromixitaly 2 days before the event is over)

I cheer to myself as I leveled. Asking the kind folks on basilmarket If i can train at retz efficiently, I go to those troublesome mice that haunted me in the past with the rice quest. *Shudders* As I go to the 98 flloor of the tower, I start my meditation and lighting those rats away. I train for 2 hours, and after the first hour, I’m in a null state. No items, not even a single npcable equip.

10 minutes until 2 hours is up…

I’m frantically trying to get those valuable exp points, as doulbe exp event is ending in about ten minutes. I kill the retz and get some good 156 exp per kill. No items yet

1 minute before I have to go…

I kill the retz as the event is going to end, and then *POOF*, A MAPLE KANDAYO DROPS!!!! I scream and holler in the whole map, with no one there. I check the stats and most luckily,its an average one. I smile as I log off and the 25% I gained during the event.

Next Day the last day of event…

I have to go to a party, and yet I still get to play some maple. Solid two hours.

About an hour later into my game…

I feel happier. I already found a blue avenger, but its one below on dex. I feel better than yesterday, and then suddenly, a MAPLE CLAW pops out of nowhere. (The weird part is, it was on the same spot the kandayo was 0.0) I do the same thing I did with the kandayo. One below avoid. Not horrible, but not good either

10 minutes left…

I sigh as I think to myself that my loved maple hat hasnt dropped once. I kill the retz slowly and with depression, as this will be my last minutes of playing the event. I get red legolia pants (f) Average. I smile, and continue training

2 minutes left…

I find blue jangoon boots with no dex on it. Poo. I still smile, as it is 35k profits.

1 minute left…

I sadly kill the last few retz I can kill. Yet, suddenly, like a miracle, A MAPLE HAT DROPS!!!! I scream much louder, and tell my guild. They all congraulate me and I see the stats. Average, I think. (+5 hp +5 mp 15 weapon def) I feel happy as i close maple story and go to the partay.

I’ve learned a lot in these two days. Its that:

Things come to you when you are least expecting it.

This was true, and the same for my sister (Lvl 35 legit, quit) when she found a wizard wand when I wanted one and a maple item first =( Maple kandayo also.
